“Hotel is lovely and clean; looked newly refurbished. Good location for travel before or after cruise out of port everglades. Suites are large and very comfortable. Transportation available for a fee by taxi, limo etc.”

“The hotel was well maintained and the staff was extremely gracious and professional. And this with a lobby full of travelers who could not go anywhere due to the weather up north. They handled everyone with grace and aplomb. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. I felt safe there.”

“We stayed at the Embassy Suites on 17th for 2 nights before a cruise (March 4-6, 2005). The hotel staff greated us warmly, and we were given a room with a very nice city view. At night it was beautiful. We had some problems with our luggage -- we came by Amtrak -- but the hotel staff helped us get things sorted out, and everything was resolved to our satisfaction. We booked a couple of day trips through the hotel, and the service we received was first rate.
The hotel transportation to the cruise port went without a hitch. It was efficient and on time. The room was clean, and the breakfast was great. I would recommend this hotel without any hesitation.”

“Transportation from airport to hotel prompt, curteous. Transportation to cruise line was great. Garden was exceptionally lovely. BUT...Hotel very old, painted over lots of times, room small, silverware in dining room dirty, glass dirty, waiters slow but friendly. Elevator smelled like bug spray. Food in dining room was not good. I probably would not stay there again. Check in staff was not friendly, but the drivers were terrific. We left a piece of luggage in the airport and he drove us back to retrieve it, waited for us. That was very much appreciated. Overall, except for the transportation, the hotel did not meet expectations.”

“Embassy Suites is a great hotel to stay in for pre and post cruise vacations. The morning breakfast is cooked to order and free. There is also last minute drug store, grocery etc. right across the street for last minute items needed for the cruise.”
