• nice hotel, near beach
• walking distance from ocean dr.

“hotel was nice, definitely appreciated the close proximity to the beach, it was a short walk to the shops off collins and ocean, would have liked to go to the pool, but if you don't lay out your towel to reserve your chair, good luck!”

• Location was beachfront with park next door beautiful ocen views
• $35 a night to PARK and there were NO ROOMS ready until after 430pm

“The location was a little away from the traditional south beach restaurants and nightlife - but the oceanfront with walk out beach was awesome. The overnight parking rate drove the actual price up by $35 we paid and there should be a disclaimer about it. The room and view were great and hotel looks relatively new and in good condition. A nice place to stay especially if you want some BEACH time...”

• The beauty, cleanliness, wow, One of the Best hotels.
• Pool was really like salt water pool.

“The Hotel was all that it was portrayed. It was beautiful, near art deco south Beach. The consierge was a beautiful place with great food (my daughter is involved in environmental issues and loved that there was real silverware). The views, the bedding, everything was wonderful.”

• Great location. Close to great clubs & restaurants.
• Pool and pool area are very small. Parking is $25.00 a day.

“Marriott South Beach exceeded my expectations. Upgraded to ocean view room and given early check in & late check out at no additional cost. Location is perfect, away from the noise, but walking distance to plenty of restaurants & clubs. Waitress service on the beach & club music from the nearby Nikki Beach Club on Sundays. Would stay again.”

• Perfect for going to the beach, never have to get in your car.
• The rooms and the pool area were very small.

• Beautiful and modern, right on the beach, helpful hotel staff
• The restaraunt had horrible service and the bartender did seem to have much experience with frozen drinks.

“My husband and I loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and the location was great! We had quick access to the beach which had a cabana set up for towel. Just don't eat or drink at the hotel. The service was so slow and the frozen drinks we ordered were undrinkable! It's better to eat out at the many wonderful restaraunts in South Beach.”

• Really high class, friendly staff. Great all around.
• A little too far off the main strip. But that also made the beach a little more private.

• fancy and fun; the beds were so comfortable and the a/c was nice
• It wasn't really the hotel's fault, but there were topless women on the family beach

“The beds were so comfortable and the rooms were clean. The pool area was really nice and clean. We were disappointed with the beach area, but everything else was great.”

• right on south beach!!, GREAT Food,Shopping,Clubs all within walking distance. Close to all the hard core parting, far enough away to relax
• room and pool were on the smallish side, but not tiny either,both were very nice.

“My family of 5 spent a week at the Marriott At South Beach. It was out-standing!. Hotel is clean and very fresh. Great service! Hotel is right on the beach, SOUTH BEACH! Pool is not huge, but is is nice. What I liked alot was the lounge beds they have, its a great place to lay around have some drinks and smoke a cigar. Food,Clubs,Shopping is all right there within walking distance. It was cool seeing several celebrities and models come and go from the hotel. You never know who will be in the elevator with you. Great Hotel!!!!”

• Fantastic beach. beautiful decor and professional staff.
• Carpet and bed skirt in room were quite soiled, otherwise clean.

• Great service and location
• Jacuzi limitations are not enforced and was not able to get inside the tub during entire stay.

“Hotel is conveniently located near major night life attractions and has a complimentary towel service at the beach. This is rare considering some other hotels charge for this service.”

• Everyone there was very helpful and it was a very beautiful place. I loved the view from our balcony.

“The hotel was great. Our room was the worst room in the hotel. They absolutely would not change our room. Although I had reservations for the next night with my convention in the same hotel, they would not put me in that room until the next day. ”

• starbucks access directly from hotel. beachfront where most hotels are not
• expensive food/bar

“Best for travelers who prefer quiet setting, away from the loudness of the beach yet close enough to walk.Don't need a car.Easy, fast access to beach.Pool for those who don't like salt and sand.Has amenenties not found in most hotels in area.”

• Close to the main strip but not right in the mix of everything.
• Problem with toilet flushing that they attempted to repair to no avail. A little of an inconvenience to flush 3 times on every use of the restroom.

• Right on the beach -- Great food!
• Hoping for room with beach view--instead I had a very close view of a run-down hotel next door. Kept blinds closed so they couldn't see in.

“We had lunch at the restaurant located on the ground floor. When my sandwich arrived the bread was moldy. I pointed this out to the waiter and changed my order. When we finished lunch we asked for the check and were told the entire meal was on the house. Didn't expect that! Class act. By the way the meal was excellent. Best mojitos yet.”
