• The decor of the room and lobby was upscale.
• There was no sit-down restaurant.

“The hotel was clean, friendly and upscale in decor. It was well maintained and light items were available for sale in the lobby. A breakfast buffet with fair selection of items was included. The computers available were never working properly.”

• Close to cruise ship.
• Waited 45 minutes for the shuttle at the airport.

“Staff was not helpful when the shuttle drove past us at the airport. They lied and said the shuttle was turning around to get us. He went to the hotel and made us wait for the next trip. Weird location off the main street, but 1 block from a shopping plaza and free shuttle to the beach. Overall, great! Just thought it would be nicer since it was a Marriott. My sister's room smelled like mold.”

• Business manager was wonderful and made arrangements for us to stay there for a few hours at end of our trip.

“We were very happy with location of hotel and found all staff to be very courteous. They helped us with public transportation and restaurant locations. We will strongly recommend this hotel to our friends and will use it in the future.”

• Large rooms with comfortable furniture.
• Check in time was 3:00. Had to wait 30 minutes to check in.

• Staff was friendly and helpful but overworked.
• Air conditioning/heating unit was moldy and room smelled bad.

“This hotel was okay for the price. The staff was extremely helpful but very understaffed. Pool was clean but room air conditioning/heating unit was visibly moldy and smelled. Free shuttle bus was very convenient. Snack counter was basically empty except in the morning when they probably had time to stock it.”

• It had everything we needed and bonus things we didn't know we needed!
• toilet was stopped up and maintenence dragged a dripping plunger across the carpet when he left- YUCK!!!!!

“Entry and parking were close and check in was fast and pleasant. The lobby had been redone in the manner of a boutique hotel with lounging, eating and check-in all combined to give the traveler a welcome home feeling. There was a 24 hour snack station at the check out and a breakfast room nearby. Also in the lobby was an internet/business room with WiFi and computers to use. The room was spacious, with a kitchenette, dining/office table and a separate sofa bed sectional. The decor was contemporary, comfortable and clean.”

• Convenient to cruise lines, free transport to/from airport & cruise terminal.

“We stayed one night before our cruise.Our room was spacious & clean.The large flat screen TV was great! We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There was also free internet access. It was nice to have the free shuttle service also.”

• Location is not the best.

“All of the staff was very nice and easy to deal with. The breakfast was good. The room was better than I expected (50" TV). All in all a very good experience.”

• Airport shuttle was good. Shuttle to cruise pier was good.
• There was a bus stop outside our window. very noisy.

“This hotel is convenient to shopping and restaurants. Fine for a one night stay before a cruise. Free shuttles from airport and to cruise pier, very good. Free breakfast was okay.”

• Good breakfast included in room rate.
• Not very clean. Fire alarm rang off and on for 45 mins at 5 a.m.

“We stayed here a year ago and found that it seems to be deteriorating. Our room was not very clean, paint was peeling from the walls in the bathroom, the ceiling had black spots that looked moldy and they had taped a bag over the smoke detector. Apparently they are having on going issues with the fire alarm system because as stated before they had bags covering them and the fire alarm kept starting and stopping in the middle of the night. Not a great stay.”

• Beautiful Hotel.
• Security Issue, pool door card access reader broken, door propped open with a towel up to 24 hours a day, anyone could enter the hotel un-noticed.

“Beautiful Hotel rooms, Furnished Nicely. To get to my room I had to pass the hotel kitchen and mountains of dirty dishes, on carts pushed to one side of the hallway. Notice, this Hotel is very difficult to find, it is off 17th Street back behind several buildings, there is no Street sign indicating '10th'.”

• Great price, convenient to cruise port, very comfortable room, great selection for breakfast.
• Hotel is in a commercial and industrial type area, close to airport & cruise port but not a walk able area.

“We were very pleased with this hotel for a one night precruise stay. Arrived at the FLL airport Friday night about 7:30 pm, retrieved bags, called hotel from a bank of courtesy phones near the baggage claim area. Courtesy van was there in about 15 minutes. Note that the courtesy van pick up area is a short walk up the sidewalk once you come out of the terminal building. It was very hot and muggy that night and we walked the whole way outside from the Southwest Airlines gate, it would be more comfortable to walk through the airport building before going outside. Van driver was courteous and it was about a 5-10 minute drive to hotel. Our room was on the first floor and it was very quiet and comfortable. We found the complimentary breakfast items to be very good. On Saturday morning, a different driver took us and several other folks to the cruise port. He had also brought some other people back to the hotel from the cruise port and informed us that it was still too busy with departing cruise passengers. When he took us to the cruise port, we were very close to the front of the line for embarking passengers, so the driver was definitely familiar with the cruise terminal area. We would definitely choose this hotel again.”
