“This hotel was pretty much what I expected. This was a spur of the moment trip for me and the location was what I needed. Because I made last minute plans on a holiday weekend, my flight was very expensive so I chose inexpensive accomodations as I knew I was not going to spend much time at the hotel anyway.”

• Good location and basically attractive layout.
• Furnishings a little bad and not-so-clean, amenities fee and their attitude when asked about it.

“If your priorities are location go for it. Not really a pleasant environment because the inside and outside aren't kept as clean as they should be.”

• Bathroom was filthy, lighting was horrible.

“The first room was alright but the bathroom was filthy. Still had soap scum stains on the wall. The lighting was horrible. You couldn't read anything due to it. Travelling as a woman didn't like going to the back of the hotel and it was a concrete wall with doors. No windows at all. Had to travel on a Friday night to and the diner at the hotel had karaoke that night so loud that I left to eat elsewhere. Other than that the beds were comfortable.”

• The patio, in room safe and the restaurant.
• I was charged an amenity fee for each day. I did not know before I got there that I would be charged this fee.

“I was not happy about the amenity fee not being disclosed beforehand. I did not see that the amenities that they offer.”

• Dark, scary and old.

“The hotel was definitely not 3 stars. I was scared and put the chair in front of the door. The hotel rooms smell too. The staff was very nice, but the room was very dark.”

• TV cable quality and selection.
• No ice machine. Demand for $3.00 "amenities fee" upon departure not appreciated.

“Got the job done but wouldn't recommend. Obvious attempt at renovation was undone by furnishings intended to look rustic. One room needed new carpet, nasty. One room needed attention to the tub, a bit unsightly.”

• Refrigerator in room, good cable TV picture and selection.
• 1 room nice carpet but tub needs help, 1 room nasty carpet.

“Obnoxious management extracted a $2.50 cash (plus tax) amenities fee upon departure, and did not want to allow credit card because card fee would be higher. On subsequent visit a few days later, no amenities fee was charged. Did not like being nickel and dimmed.”

• Close to where I need to be; bar staff friendly; safe area.
• Room layout, furniture.

“For a value stay, this hotel fits the bill, but be careful about staying in the back building. Rooms smell musky and of chlorine. Staff in bar and restaurant very friendly, food average but fairly priced. Rooms don't have enough outlets for cell phones, computers, etc. Desks are uncomfortable and not meant for working. Convenient to Delray surrounding areas.”

• I didn't have bed bug bites in the morning.
• It had automatic doors into the lobby.

“From the moment I opened the door, the hair on the back of my neck stood up. The odor, the carpet, the ancient worn blankets, the residue on the tub/shower walls all was gross. I looked for things crawling on the sheets, but didn't see any and didn't have any bites in the morning. Outside light shined around the closed door. They took a photocopy of my drivers license and cc and wouldn't return them upon check out. Just creepy. Definitely won't be there again! Take it off your list of options! Quick!”

• Location is acceptable.
• Filthy halls, it has the feel of a cheap hwy motel.

“About the Boca Raton Plaza, with its fancy name. The only thing that looks nice and elegant is the lobby; it has a nice marble fountain in the middle. I was very disappointed with the buildings and the room. The halls and elevators are dirty; most of the halls have water leaks from the a/c units from each room. The parking area is under construction, it is a mess, and there are not enough spaces. In the inside of the room there was humidity everywhere, the ceiling of the room was damaged with humidity. I would not stay again. I felt unsafe, and uncomfortable. It is like staying in one of those dirty highway motels. Stay away!”

• The pool and an awesome whirlpool. A ramp near my room to wheel the harp.
• Problems to find parking as some parking spaces were being resurfaced.

• Its location, close to the beach.
• Needs some refreshing.

“An ok place; some small bothering problems (e.g., when the weather is windy, the ac shakes and makes a metallic noise all night), but the room was comfortable. The "restaurant" (actually, it's just a bar) doesn't look great (is there anything else to eat than sandwiches).”
