“We found this hotel to be an excellent choice, and free parking available. The location on the Bay provided outstanding views. The only negative was the elevator - There was a strong odor of. OIL.”

“With upgrade of rooms and improvement in general cleanliness, we would consider paying the same value to stay there again.”

“The location of the hotel is not good because there really isn't much to do. But for a one night stay, as in next day cruise, it's fine. The breakfast was good (cereals, fruits, pastries, boiled eggs, coffee, tea), the room comfortable and clean. The hotel it self needs work done but I would stay again.”

“The hotel was in an easy location to find. The staff was very friendly. The pool area was large with lots of room to lay around in the sun. The room was clean and smelled very nice. The only thing not convenient was the parking area. And the elevator was a little scary.”

“Over all the room was fine. Shuckers (the hotel restaurant) was great. Beautiful view of the bay from the restaurant. Very friendly staff. There were 3 females staying there. The beds were very comfortable; there was even a twin size sofa bed and ceiling fan. We stayed on the first floor so we didn't have a balcony but we still had access to a sliding door. From what I understand the other rooms that had balconies did not have the extra space with the sofa bed. Since it was 3 of us we decided to keep the room with the most space. Continental breakfast was good. I would stay there again.”

“It was ok for the price. Quiet. Staff members argued openly in the restaurant with complete disregard for guest eating.”

“I had a very bad experience staying at this hotel. The first stay was on March Break week 2008 from Monday to Wed, we were assigned to a room with two double beds when I booked for two queen beds. Front desk told me there was no more two queen beds and the price was the same with two double beds. But I clearly remembered I booked queen beds and the price was 10 dollars higher. The room was in a very old and dirty building, the bathroom door could only be closed when I had to squeeze myself into the gap between toilet and bath tub. The bath tub was definitely not cleaned, I saw hairs everywhere. The air conditioner front filter panel fell off and added more noise to the room. We had to turn off the AC at night time. The elevator smelled horrible and the outside environment was terrible. My experience at this hotel was very bad. My second stay was on the same week which was on Friday (I booked the hotel before my first stay). This time we were assigned to another building which was cleaner and nicer. The room was bigger and cleaner even though the bathroom was still small. But the noise from the facility room just out side my room was too big for us to go to sleep easily. It was super noisy! All in all, this hotel has two buildings with two different levels. I felt I was treated with the second building level and price (marked 2 star) and was assigned to another building which was way to be stared. We couldn't tell it until we came back for the second stay.”
