“I have been twice with my wife and kids and had no problems. Had pool and continental breakfast for 69 in July which is ok.”

“This was a bad hotel which I paid a lot of money per night. The hotel was next to a train track which blew it's horn right at the hotel day and night. Fire alarms that were faulty and went off day and night (you didn't know if there was a fire or not). There were 2 elevators, 1 didn't work and the other sounded like it was going to break and it reached our floor, the toilet ran, the phone didn't work some of the time, the girl that was working nights for the hotel hated it she said these types of things happen all the time and everyone would call and complain.”

“We knew what we were getting into. This was a stop over after a cruise and we just wanted a decent place to stay and this hotel filled the bill. The remodeling was extensive and well done. We had stayed here a few years ago and this time was much better.”

“Very disappointing, a coach roach in the room and in the corridor. the washroom old and dirty. Sheets did not appear clean, neither did beds appear to be made up. The elevator very very dirty. This was a horrible experience for us. ”

“The hotel is in a rough neighborhood being close to the interstate in Ft Lauderdale but the staff and security were on the ball and for the location, which was what I was looking for were, very nice and professional.”

“Our first room was a smoking room without working AC. We requested a room change the next morning and received a better room but it did not have a king-sized bed. Most of the staff was friendly and our was always cleaned to our expectations.”

“The hotel was adequate for my needs, but not much more. The neighborhood is one you do not want to walk around in, day or night. OK place for adult, male. I would not recommend it for families.”

“Very busy and expensive area, as all Fort Lauderdale area is. Pool was enjoyable although most of the guests seemed to be male construction or maintenance workers hanging around the stairways and loud at night. Being bilingual would be handy here. Would not be good for families, vacationers and definitely not for honeymooners. Room and outside of hotel area was kind of dirty. Attitude of staff was cold. Continental breakfast was good.”

“Good staff. Easy to get to and fro town or the airport, great dinner eating available a short piece down the road, it looks run down. So that adds to the general atmosphere of "shabbiness".”

“We arrived lat and our reservation had not been transferred to Day's Inn (not their fault). They told us to contact our travel agent - which was not possible because of 6 hours difference in time. Then they offered us a double room for just $59 while the late arrival rate was $ 99,-. Very friendly staff!The room was not so special. My wife doubted the sheets had been washed. It was just a bit run down.”
