• I really enjoyed the grounds. The flowers and trees are beautiful.
• We needed the exercise, but the car wasn't very convenient to the room.

“If you are looking for a nice hotel with a great breakfast included, this is the place for you. The grounds are beautiful around the pool and it is an overall pleasant place to stay.”

• Clean rooms.
• Nothing in walking distance!

“Very good for the price. Some ants in the dining area but food was great. The shuttle accommodation was extremely convenient.”

• Location to cruise ship and airport.
• Was not quite what I expected for the price?

“It was handy to the airport and ships but did not give a good first impression with the faded silk flowers mixed in the landscape. Walk was uneven outside rooms causing several people to stumble. Breakfast was good but decor needed updating. People were friendly and pick up and delivery service was good.”

• It was convenient for boarding cruise ship the next day.
• Hotel staff was not very friendly.

“We were disappointed in the fact the shuttle service quit running the night we came in. Our flights were delayed due to the weather and we were not able to take the shuttle and had to pay $50 for a cab, we picked this hotel due to the shuttle etc and when we arrived the hotel staff was not very friendly at all. The place was ok for just sleeping a few hours; the area needs more waiting space for all of the people waiting to get on the shuttle for cruise port. Also all of the pop machines were out of diet coke and when I went to the bar to ask for one he said to just get one out of the machine, I told him the machines were all out.”

“This hotel should be renamed as a motel not a hotel. Hotels are nice, clean and full of amenities; this hotel served none of the above. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The ride from the airport to hotel and then hotel to cruise ship was great.
• Older building and the hot water did not work in shower and was not fixed while we were there.

• Good location with a good restaurant, pool and nice atmosphere plus an excellent breakfast.
• I can not say that disliked anything about this hotel.

• The price and the convenience to the airport. The shutter was very nice and prompt.
• We went to the bar and had a couple of drinks and appetizer and the bartender ignore us. She walked by us several times and didn't acknowledge us.

“Everything was very nice and pleasant. The bar situation was not a good experience. The bartender was not attentive to all her customers. Having a daughter in the service industry, that is a big thing with me and my family.”

• Breakfast was fine. Room was ok.
• Did not like the idea that I had to move from room to room so that they could change the rug when I only had a day left to stay; should have done after.

“Room was ok. Staff was very nice to deal with. Did not like the planes flying over the room at 12:00 and 1:00 in the morning and having to move to a different room so they could do the rug change when I only had a day left to stay. Could have been done after I checked out.”

• Although it was older, I was cleaner than I thought it would be.
• The "airport" location that is advertised is not true.

“I really would not recommend this hotel. Everyone, from the courtesy phone person, the hotel transportation drivers and the front desk person were the rudest hotel employees I have ever had to deal with. The airport location is a huge stretch! This hotel is a good distance away from FLL airport.”

• Fair choices of hot breakfast items.
• Carpet in room felt dirty, sticky to my feet, room smells chemically.

“Could not be seen from the freeways, we got to know the surrounding areas (which is not good) before finding the motel - very frustrating. Do not try heater, we accidentally turned it on, what a mistake, the room stunk, we could not breathe and was quite angry at the situation.”

• The service in the restaurant by the waiters was good.
• The rooms and entire hotel presentation was dirty and not worth the $.

“When my family walked into the room there was an awful smell of urine, and when we walked into the bathroom there was urine all over the toilet. The front desk was no help so I had to go buy Lysol and clean it myself. It was absolutely disgusting. At check out there were many hidden charges, I bought a package deal with them and many things presented in the sales conversation were misrepresented. They lied about many things in order to sell the package deal to me, but when it came down to it the things that were promised didn't happen. Buyer bewares!”

• The room was clean and the bed and shower accommodations were great. We needed the use of the shuttle service and the drivers were prompt and polite.
• The hotel is not in walking distance of any other stores.

“I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada the staff was prompt and professional. I would stay there again. The only drawback for me was the location, it is not near any other stores.”

• Very good breakfast selection in a comfortable setting.
• No recreational facility for you adults and staff could not suggest any nearby. Pool tables or games could have helped.

• Receptionist lied to us about shuttle to ship.

“Dirty, musty odor in room, unfriendly staff receptionist told us there was but one shuttle to ship when in fact there was one every 45 minutes.”

• The shuttle bus drivers and bellman were great.
• Food is way over priced and of very poor quality.

“We stayed at this hotel 3 nights costing a total of $330.00, which in my opinion, was very over priced. If you want to go into town, a taxi will cost about $50.00 round trip.”
