• Very convenient to the AA Arena and the Waterfront Port.
• Small, slow, and unreliable elevators. Had to be rescued by firefighters.

“The hotel was nicely appointed and very conveniently located. The three elevators were not sufficient to handle a full hotel. They were slow, noisy and unreliable. Staff was not helpful when we asked to use the stairs.”

• It was close to the pier.

• The close proximity to the pier and entertainment.
• Very noisy. Construction on roof until 6pm then in room next door at 8am!!!

“The overall comfort of the room was good. The view was aweful and the noisy due to construction was ridiculous. We did not spend a lot of time in the room. If you plan to spend time in your room this is not the place for you. We felt very safe and the proximity to restaurants and entertainment was great!”

• The location is perfect to all attractions.
• Charged to park and very little of parking.

• Nothing.
• Cold, dirty, noisy, uncomfortable, terrible food.

“This hotel is outrageously overpriced. It has no redeeming features. The room was ice cold, rooms were not made up until late in the afternoon (after several requests), dinner was inedible, no food or drinks available between breakfast and dinner. Walls are paper thin so the rooms are noisy. We would not stay there again under any circumstances.”

• Location was excellent, walked across the street for shops and dining, short cab trips to ships and airport.
• Older building with narrow hallways.

“This is a sound choice for those taking cruises. Things to do across the street and right between the airport and the cruise lines. The hotel staff was very helpful. We stayed a day before the cruise and a day after the cruise. The only negative comment is the hotel is old.”

• Loved being so close to the bayside and port.
• Poor service, breakfast was over priced for what was offered, my friends went to the bar for cocktails and felt the service was awful.

“Customer service /front desk was very good. I called ahead to confirm and they were very nice. I arrived early and there was no problem we were given rooms many hours before standard check in time. Great location to bayside and fast to port of Miami if your crushing most always stay in a 4 or 5 star we like to spoil ourselves like anyone but I would stay here again as long.”

• The location to the cruise ship piers was good. Bayside shopping good too.
• On a noisy and busy street with low flying airplanes throughout the night.

“We arrived 2 hours early of check-in but were allowed in our rooms, which was great. We made an easy across-the-street walk to the water front and shopping. (no beach) We could see the cruise ships come in from our upper level bayside room (which we requested and received) The beds were incredibly comfortable. The room was adequately sized, not large.”

• The location was great for our cruise.
• Older and a little dirty.

“The hotel was great for the location. It was across from Bayside park and there were lots of things for us to do the night before our cruise without having to take a taxi anywhere. The hotel is older but in fairly good shape. We were really only there to sleep.”

• Poor services, hotel in bad conditions, too expensive.

“I stayed for 6 nights, I extend one more night and they charged me $224.00 used for an extra night. I think instead to recognize the long stay tourists, they punish you with a high tariff. The hotel is an old hotel like a 2 stars and the rate is for a 4 star. I will not recommend this hotel.”

• Close to port, restaurant in hotel, smoking rooms.
• Had funny smell when you walked in. We did not have wash rags in the room. TV did not work well.

• Not clean, staff not courteous, no shuttles, poor maintenance.

“We were very disappointed with our hotel stay. The rooms were falling apart and not very clean. The staff with the exception of the bellman was unfriendly and made you feel that you were an intrusion in their day instead of a customer; this includes front desk personnel as well as the restaurant. We did not feel safe in this hotel, right outside were homeless people who walked into next door restaurants and would dig through the trash as well as harass customers. It was noisy with the construction right behind the building. The only good thing was that there was always a taxi waiting outside which was nice since there is no shuttle service.”

• The only good thing about this hotel was the location.
• Didn't like the hotel at all.

“I don't recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff wasn¿t friendly, and most were Spanish speaking. The rooms were horrible, smelled of water damage. I had never had a bad experience at a hotel until we stayed at this hotel.”

• Location, view were great and restaurant in hotel convenient.
• Only there for one night so really found nothing not to like.

“We found the hotel to be clean - ready when we arrived - quiet with a great location. Would definitely stay there again when in the area.”
