• The pool area and tropical flower beds were very pretty.
• My street side room was very noisy from traffic, bed pillows lumpy, bedspread heavy, strong perfume smell always in hallway, and no micro/fridge.

“Overall, this hotel was acceptable but it could be so much more with attention to details. Replace the badly rusted hinges on the bathroom door and provide larger than thimble sized bottles of shampoo. Paramount though should be customer service more than the minimum and security. Would also suggest developing a brochure of restaurants and attractions within walking distance.”

• Friendly staff, clean and good breakfast.
• Smoke in the hallways.

“The hotel was a very clean with friendly staff and a good continental breakfast. It was quiet and the room was very nicely decorated.”

• It does have a pool.
• Although being a non smoker, a smoking room was forced upon me as my only choice.

“I probably would have had a better experience if I had been assigned a non smoking room as a non smoker. Avoid level 2 at all costs if you are a non smoker!”

• The beds were comfortable.
• The elevators smelled of smoke.

“It was ok for the price. The breakfast was ok. It was clean and the beds comfortable but everything in the room seemed a bit old and worn. I would stay again.”

“The housekeeping was very good, but my complaint is that they use too much (sweet) fragrances in their spray deodorant which made me suspect that they were concealing something like a urine smell or a mold problem. I think they (housekeeping staff) should be trained or monitored more closely because of this problem. Next, the light bulbs in the room was too low (voltage), which made it difficult to read my newspaper. Bathroom was too small, also with my arms outstretched (they are short) I was able to touch the walls in both directions. Drainage in the tub/sink was slow, requires proper maintenance. Supplies and Bedding was very good. Elevator requires attention, jerks on top level and slow.”

• It was in the center of town making everything almost within walking distance.
• Some of the staff seemed sub par but not bad, and some of the towns folk seemed less than reputable.

“Good location, most of the staff was friendly and helpful, a couple could use some people skills, but overall a relative present stay with no real complaints.”

“The hotel was undergoing extensive renovations-the first room I had was very dusty and smelled from fresh paint. The second room was on the 5th floor and the elevator ride was truly an adventure.”

• Worn looking hallways--tired appearance of room.

“The hotel served our purposes of 1 short night stay, but the pictures were a little of oversell on the actual appearance of the rooms.”

• Daytime staff was courteous and helpful. Went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and our needs were met.
• The night we checked in, the girl at the front desk was on a personal phone call almost the entire time she checked us in. She barely spoke to us.

“We stayed at this hotel a total of 6 nights. After the first night, we extended our stay another night. Then we added 4 more nights. Our original room had two full-size beds. We asked for a king for the last 4 nights. They were very accommodating, finding a room for us immediately, so we could go about our day without having to come back to switch rooms. The day-staff checked with us often to make sure we were happy. The free breakfast was decent - mostly cold pastries and fruits along with a waffle making machine. Th
