“No frills, but great location and surprisingly ample free parking. I wasn't expecting the parking to be so great so close to Downtown Miami, and so close to Miracle Mile. For our purposes, this hotel was a nice surprise at a great price. I'm originally from Miami, and those saying the neighborhood isn't safe are crazy. This is one of the safer places in town. If you are really concerned about safety, don't bother coming to Miami at all. The location is one of the best in town: no hoodlums walking around with nothing better to do, nice high-rise condos dotting the street, reasonable traffic, ample dining and entertainment within walking distance. This isn't Harlem or Compton, but a nice midtown area. I had never been to such a nice neighborhood in Miami before.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions. Room is small, but workable with 2 people. Need more trash cans, one is just not enough for 3 days. I hate small coffee pots. I brought my own coffee and creamer, but had no filter for the coffee, plus the pot is too little! I enjoy my coffee and hotels need to put in larger coffee pots.”

“If I were expecting to stay in a budget hotel it would have been fine. But for the star level I was expecting something a little better. The hotel was old and run down. The furniture in the room was broken with peeling surfaces etc. The TV was very small and far from the bed. The carpet was dirty, the room smelled musty. The staff did a good job of cleaning but the room was just old. The hotel is not a traditional hotel, no daily maid service, no one at desk after 11PM etc. The staff was very helpful and knew the area well, great with directions and suggestions for meals etc. In fact, staff was better than many superior hotels I've been in. The area is convenient if you're on a shopping trip, as I was.”

“First room was not ready on time. Our room smelled really of wet ashtray and it was a non smoking room we had to ask for another room. The second room had no mattress. The third room had an odor. The desk person had to write down 6 or 7 more room numbers and go with us to each one till we found one that was decent which happened to be a handicap room and even then sheets had a stain. I was very disappointed.”

“The hotel was in a great location, right on the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. It didn't have a restaurant but that was alright because there were so many cafes and restaurants closely. I would highly recommend this hotel and am happy that I stayed there.”
