“I have stayed here a dozen times before but this was not a good visit. For the second time in a row the wireless in the hotel didn't work and for a business traveler that doesn't work. The coffee pot was
bad and wouldn't clean up.”

• Convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants.
• The toilet seat pinched, bruised, scratched my inner thigh and the toilet overflowed.

“This hotel had a convenient location, close to shopping and restaurants. Bathroom was not very clean, clean out cover missing from tub. The toilet seat was loose and when I sat down it pinched my thigh, leaving a bruise and abrasion. When I told the desk clerk he apologized. I got up at 3 am to go to the bathroom and the toilet started to overflow. I had to remove the tank cover and adjust the arm to stop this. The clock stopped working during the night and the alarm did not go off. I would definitely not stay here again.”

• Check in table notifies you that there is a problem with car break-ins.

“This should be a one star hotel. It is clean inside but it is not in a family friendly area. Might be good for business trips. The check-in counter has posted that there have been car break-ins recently and to secure all electronic devices.”

• The room was exactly as pictured and everything was very clean!
• The elevator didn't work most of the time, and I had to twice go down to change keys!

“This was actually a decent hotel overall. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very nice, except the couch was extremely uncomfortable. Nice flat screen TV. The room and bathroom were both very clean. The parking was ATROCIOUS at best, and there was absolutely no security in the parking area. Lighting was very dim, and I believe there are not really sufficient parking places to accommodate guests. The elevator didn't work during most of our stay. While I don't mind climbing stairs, I don't really feel like climbing five flights of stairs at midnight! Room service was fast and friendly.”

• The rooms and lobby were clean and well decorated. The outdoor pool area was very nice.
• The AC was 6" from one of the beds and was very loud when turned on and it woke us all night long.

• Location.
• The house keepers cleaned the room and took all my stuff (2 complete outfits, t-brush-gel) half way threw my stay.

“Good with the exception of having to wait a hour for my personal property to be returned to me. The manager did give me a half-priced pizza that night.”

• Very comfortable bed. Nicely decorated room.
• I got lost on the way there, but I have a very bad sense of direction. The hotel staff helped me several times on the phone. I liked the hotel.

“Very nice hotel. Appeared to be newly remodeled. The hotel staff told me it used to be a Hilton before Holiday Inn took the location over. The beds were extremely comfortable. I didn't hear any noise from the hallway or from other guests. There was a pool area, but I didn't have time to check it out. Check out was at 11 am which I liked as I was able to sleep in. They had a business center, but it was not complimentary. There was a $5 minimum internet charge for the first 10 minutes and then 50 cents a minute after that.”

• It was beautiful, great bed and bedding, nice decor.
• Nothing.

“I loved it. It exceeded my expectations. The bed was lush and the mattress was very good quality. The location was close to dining and not far from the Sawgrass Mills or Broward Malls.”

• E receptionist is very rude.
• Is about the receptionist, was very rude.

“The hotel is good. The receptionist that work on that day was very rude. But never the case, l will surely come back.”

• The staff left a lot to be desired.

“I stayed at this hotel many times when it was the Las Palmas. I liked the location. The staff under Las Palmas was much more customer oriented.”

• House cleaning is 1.5 star quality.

“Overall the hotel is a decent 3 star facility. You may have to shuffle around from one room to another for various reasons (not clean, stopped up sink, AC not working) but once settled, it's worth the trouble. I end up at this hotel often and they will accommodate your needs.”

• Good location, relative to shopping, dining, etc.
• House cleaning fails to honor do not disturb card.

“Check out is at 11am. Twice, once at 9:10 am and then again at 10:15 am housekeeping barged into my room. On both occasion, the do not disturb card was firmly in the room key slot. When the lady opened my door the last time a asked her: what time is checkout?! She looked at me with an empty stare, at which point I explained, checkout is at 11am. Please don't come here again until that time. That's why the do not disturb card is in that slot. She abruptly turned and left, but why? Are they just stupid, untrained, rude? Again, we have 1.5 star management in a 3 star facility. Unbelievable!”

• Very friendly and helpful staff. Really clean and comfortable hotel (once inside).
• There were hardly any lights on the outside of the building. It looked like a deserted office building.

“When we first drove up we thought the building was a deserted office building - it was totally dark except for the Holiday Inn sign at the street. Once inside though it was really inviting and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and very large. One thing that was disappointing was the fact that our room was as far away from the entrance as you could get and the hotel was not full.”

• Modern in every sense of the word! Staff always curious.
• Belongings stolen from room. Room key was problematic. Noisy courtyard heard in room.

“This hotel is nicely modernized. The courtyard is beautiful. Rooms are good size with nice accommodations. Our city view was fantastic on the 5th floor. The elevators can be slow, the restaurant staff seemed unknowledgeable, forgetting things like cream cheese for bagels and to bring the creamer out with the coffee, but they are prompt to attempt to right wrongs, patience needed. We had some wrapped gifts stolen from our room, investigation still pending and it is nearly 4 days later. I will probably go to this hotel again.”

• They gave as a very well located room - near the elevator - made us feel special.
• The outside area smell strongly of cigarette smoke, old cigarette butts; odd location of entrance.

“This hotel is in a good location, looks expensive but is actually reasonable. It deserves its star level and it does not make you feel that you were cheated into believing something else. The room we stayed in was very clean and very nice, so too was the bathroom, which had complete amenities except they did not provide conditioner. They give you the morning paper. They placed us in a good room location, and not to the very end, or at an out of the way room. Other than the cigarette-smelling outer area, our whole hotel stay was impressive.”
