Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • Beach access.
  • Horrible shape, rooms are dirty, no attractions near, expensive, charged extra for resort, $22/parking/day.

“This hotel is horrible. I would not recommend it to anyone. The shape of the place is below any standard. They charge $22/day for parking and $10/day for internet access. No ramp for children stroller. Location is not near any attraction.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • Staff was very kind.
  • Poor lighting in bathroom area.

“The lighting did not reach into the small tub/shower area making it very difficult to adequately clean oneself. The hotel restaurants /room service closed down the second day we were there so they could clean for Passover. No prior notice was given, so we could make other arraignments. Instead we had to eat outside during a cold snap at 8 pm with the flies, when we had planned on room service in our PJ's, very disappointing. To top it off the desk clerk tried correcting me when I called Passover peach-it's Hebrew name. The whole purpose of my vacation was a few days away before the holiday rush with thirty for dinner two nights in a row.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[5] • Location:[9]

  • Great location in center of Miami Beach.
  • No Jacuzzi in pool area and older hotel in need of major renovations.

“This hotel has passed its prime and elegance and is in need of major renovations. Its superior location was a great advantage within footsteps of the beach but the condition of the hotel was a distraction.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Nice bar, excellent barman, very friendly staff.
  • Having to pay $22 a day for parking.

“The hotel was a good choice to stay at for the short time I was in Miami. It is looking a bit tired though and needs uplift.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[6]

  • Kind of feel like being cheated by this hotel.
  • Mandatory resort fee. Internet fee. Valet parking fee.

“Be aware of the fees you will have to pay: resort fee: 10 per room per day, plus tax; valet parking fee: 22 per day plus tip and tax; internet fee: 9.95 per day, plus tax. They are extra charges.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[8] • Location:[9]

  • The location - on the beach.
  • Extra charges for simple conveniences.

“Great hotel overall. I just wish that the hotel would not charge for simple conveniences, like parking and wireless Internet, among others.”

Cleanliness:[4] • Staff:[7] • Location:[1]

  • Beautiful lobby; efficient valet service.
  • Dated decor; bad view; poor north beach location; old electrical outlets; noisy; cold hallways; dirty carpeting.

“Not what I would describe as a 3-star hotel. Decor is outdated, interior hallways were freezing cold, our view was the building next door and the outlets in the room would not accept appliances such as a blow dryer or curling iron. One outlet was dismantled and dangling on the floor with numerous items plugged into it. The location is not exactly South Beach either. It is about 36 blocks to the Art Deco district. However, our check in was simple and the lobby and pool were very nice.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[7] • Location:[8]

  • Staff was friendly.
  • Grossly over-priced, TERRIBLE food, dirty.

“I without a doubt would NOT recommend this hotel, unless you like spending high prices for nothing in return, dirty, food is absolutely terrible, and on top of that they charge you $22.00 a night to park your car.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[7]

  • Great entry way and the pool area looked nice.
  • Rooms seemed a little dated and room view was not as expected.

“We had a pretty good experience. Only about a $9 cab ride to the heart of South Beach and the hotel is right on the beach. The staff was friendly. The rooms were nice, basically clean, but the bathroom was extremely small and dated. The shower had very little pressure, but we stayed for 1 night and it suited our purpose well. I would stay there again in a pinch and compared to some boutique hotels in South Beach that promise certain things, this was a decent place at a decent rate in January.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[1] • Location:[6]

  • The pool area was very nice.
  • The staff was rude, the service was slow and inefficient.

“It has very rude staff members. Room service takes over an hour and the food is cold and wrong. The food served is not well prepared and tastes horrible. Fun for people with kids who don't mind eating fried fish and/or chicken with French fries everyday.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[9]

  • Common areas were beautiful.
  • Rooms a little on the worn side. In need of renovation, but not bad.

“Hard for wheel chair access from drive up and in the hotel in general. Need to find a person with a key to the mini elevators. Pretty cumbersome. Perfect for a one night stay. Good price performer. Don't think I would book it for a week.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Concierge was very helpful and pleasant, location was good.
  • Funny smell in the building and the rooms+ mold on bathroom walls breakfast buffet too expensive for what they offered.

“Too much money for what they had to offer.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[3]

  • The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the view was beautiful from our room, and the beach was very nice.
  • Parking charge $22.00/day, hotel resort fee of $10/day, must have car to stay here as there are no restaurants or shopping nearby.

“Staff extremely wonderful, room clean but dated. Beautiful view and beach.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[1] • Location:[1]

  • Soaps were lovely, beds were comfortable.
  • Valet lost our car, $22 for parking /day, $10 resort fee, not a spa as advertised.

“The beds were comfortable; the soap/ hair care products were lovely. Valet lost our rental car. Each morning took 30 minutes to retrieve car. Staff is not friendly. Bar tender not knowledgeable. I rate it a 2 star hotel. Enjoyed our trip, but are itching from the bed bugs. Hotel is not located near any amenities/ restaurants. Fees charged for parking, resort fee & newspaper were $35 per day.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The rooms were large and attractive. The views were very nice.
  • There were no nearby restaurants and the hotel food was pricy. The cab fare from the airport was $32 and $31 to the Port of Miami.

“We enjoyed our stay at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa. The hotel was older, but very attractive nonetheless, with large rooms and beautiful public areas. The staff was very helpful, and the food, though expensive, was excellent.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • The location on the beach was perfect.
  • The price for room service was expensive.

“Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. This was close to south beach and the hotel was on Miami beach. The pool was heated pool. Good spa. Really enjoyed this hotel.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[7] • Location:[7]

  • Beach location.
  • $22 per day valet parking. No nearby public parking. $10 per day resort fee.

“Hotel is acceptable, but more of a 3.5 star rather than a 4 star. Cable for the TV was taped together, so cable reception was intermittent. I was very disturbed to find a $10 per day "resort fee" included on the bill. Also, the $22 per day valet parking seems excessive. No nearby public parking.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[8] • Location:[7]

  • Parking attendants and desk personnel were very friendly.
  • There was no hot water when I tried to shower at 8:30 pm.

“The room was shabby looking. The window draperies were nasty with stains all over them. There are wonderful architectural features but everything in the room is in need of an update. When I went to take a bath at 8:30 pm, because I had an early flight the following morning, there was no hot water. Also, about 1 am, someone banged on our door and repeatedly tried to open our door using a room key. We yelled thru the door several times before we could get him to leave. Made me feel that the hotel was maybe a bit unsafe for women travelers.”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[3] • Location:[3]

  • The pool. The lobby was nice.
  • Old and the shower water temp. Would change randomly.

“Valet service was 22 dollars a day. The room was kind of dirty and the shower water temperature would change from hot to cold randomly. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. I would have rather stayed at a 2 star hotel. The 3 star rating is too high!”

Cleanliness:[3] • Staff:[2] • Location:[5]

  • Convenient beach access.
  • Several hidden fees. Expensive parking. Charged for service bar items we didn't take. Far from the shops and restaurants in s. Miami beach.

“Good location with good access to beach. The parking was ridiculously expensive for Miami ($22 a day plus tax). Even though the food quality was decent it didn't live up to it's cost. The servers where nice and helpful, however I didn't agree with the 17% tip they automatically charge even if you only have a coke at the bar. Upon departure I complained to the front desk person about the added costs from the minibar, and he was extremely unhelpful and rude about it.”
