“This hotel was perfect for the short stay. Hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean. Also, it was very convenient, as it is located approximately 2 miles from the Miami Airport. The only complaint that I have is about the pizza delivery menu that was slid under the door. We ordered a large cheese pizza from 1 of the 2 menus (that were slid under the door of our room), and when the pizza arrived, they said it was $17.95, but it was supposed to be $11.50.”

“This is a ok hotel nothing fancy. We just stayed 1 night after our cruise. Was ok for that reason but would not stay any longer. The shuttle was good.”

“A pizza delivery man knocked on our door on the 3rd floor at 3:30AM. He had the wrong room. I asked at the front desk about security and found it to be very lax, if there was any at all during the night. I filed a complaint with the front desk clerk who told me she would alert the manager but I don't know if he was told or not.”

“This hotel has had no renovations in years. Everything looked old and dated. Front desk staff was very nice. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“This is a 2 star moderate hotel. Except the location, everything else is not to the 3 star level. Carpets are old and there is a rusty smell in the hallway. Overall this hotel needs a major renovation work.”

“The staff made me wait until 4 pm. to check in even though they were checking in their other customers. I got the feeling they were waiting to give me the least desirable of the remaining rooms. I was happy with the room. It was nice but did not face the ocean. However, the hall areas we shabby and dirty. The lobby was very large and appeared nice but when I looked closer the ceiling tiles over the check-in desk were dented and pushed up. Parts of the front of the desk were missing. It looked shabby. I don't think this hotel is 2.5 stars.”

“The staff was very helpful. The service was impeccable and the room service correct and friendly and the food was a pleasant surprise. We were in Miami on business and never expected this treasure in an old Holiday Inn. It was a very pleasant surprise. The hotel and its staff placed us in a good mood for our meeting and its success. We thank them for this small gem in this hurried and unforgiving world.”

“The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything felt and looked clean. Our room had lots of very poorly done patch work on walls, ceiling, tile as well as hairdryer broken off wall and light switch plate askew. 'In the day' I'd guess it was very nice.”

“As we arrived a large budget rental truck was parked in the drop off area and the shuttle for Holiday Inn was there too. The driveway to unload was unusable. The truck was allowed to be parked there for the duration of our stay. Our toilet was clogged and someone came to fix it however, it was still clogged when we went to use it and we had to call the desk again for service. This delayed our leaving for our evening plans. The public toilet on the main floor was also clogged. Seems they have a plumbing problem. Guests across from us and next to us were allowing their young children to run around the halls crying and carrying on. They kept us awake from about 11 pm until 1:00 am. We had to be up by 4:00 am for an early flight. Our wake-up call was for 4 am and we weren't called until 4:15 am. Not an overall good experience for us. The cost was high for this kind of result.”
