“This hotel may have been 4 star 10 years ago, but I would say it is at best 3.5 stars now. This hotel does come with a couple of 4 star features: $15/day for parking and outrageously expensive internet. Their rack rates are outrageous for what they offer. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is safe and clean. It was too cold in Miami for me to try out the pool, but it looked nice.”

• Poor service, long lines for everything.

“Do not go there if you can avoid it. Long lines for everything, totally understaffed, dated hotel, check in and out nightmare since a huge amount of travelers are there at all times, unfriendly staff, had to call 3 times for bellboy and still wait over 30 min, rooms dated and worn not really clean.”

• The foyer of the hotel, the grounds and the pool were all beautiful. The shuttle service to the airport was excellent. It was close to a bus stop.
• The food in the restaurant was unremarkable and overpriced.

• Close to the airport.

“My expectations for this hotel were high and those expectations were not met. My room was no better than a room at the Motel 6. I was expecting to show my girlfriend a good time and the hotel was going to be the first highlight. That did not happen.”

• Terrific bed, bed sheets and pillows.
• Staff was inattentive and apathetic.

“As much as I was disenchanted with the staff of the hotel, I have to say the room was great. Having always prided myself on how comfortable the beds are in my own home, I have to say the hotel bed was a great surprise. I could not wait to return to those soft sheets and comfy pillows each night. The room was huge, airy and quite comfortable and decor was more than adequate. Its nice to actually stay at a Hilton that lives up to the "Hilton" name. Naturally, being so close to the airport you hear the planes taking off and landing, that is to be expected when you read the name and location of the hotel. That being said, their are roads leading to everywhere you want to go and once you actually know where to go and how to get back it does seem to be an ideal location for those with their own transport. Now, finally the staff. Housekeeping did not show up at my room twice. They blamed it on the fact I had the 'Do Not Disturb' on the door through out the night. I argued the sign came off at 9:30 AM when we left the room. No matter insisted the housekeeping representative who, very matter of fact, transferred us to a manager whose apologies seemed to spew forth naturally without meaning and who could not wait to get us off the phone. A mistake on our bill was treated equally by the billing representative, who physically removed the charge from our bill, but did not adjust the end charge so we ended up paying the charge regardless (and folks, I am a boring old accountant. trust me, it was not adjusted). That being said. I would stay again.”

• Our overall experience at this hotel was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The grounds were well kept.
• I did not like the fact that we had to pay to park and to use the internet. There was no microwave or refrigerator.

“I was very please with our stay in the hotel. We had a wonderful time. I would choose it again.”

• Lobby and rooms were attractive, modern and clean.
• Food and service in the dining room were inexcusable.

“This was a great place to stay for a short stay near the Miami airport. It was clean, modern, and had attractive grounds. Our room was great- very comfortable. The downfall is the hotel's restaurant. We opted for menu service instead of the breakfast buffet, and it was awful. Food was cold, so we sent it back. When we got it back, the food was still cold, but the plates were hot- they obviously just put the whole plate in the microwave. Waitress acted like we were bothering her by actually ordering something. Sleep here, but don't eat here!”

• Room had a faint odor from cigarette smoke.

• Convenient. Airport shuttle was a requirement.
• Thought restaurant prices were too high.

“Restaurant staff okay except for one grouch. Don't like to be negative but that was the one thing that got my attention. Everything else was great. Just flew in from Europe and room price was reasonable when compared to a four star in Germany.”
