• They picked me up at their other location and drove me to the airport
• I was trying to get a wakeup call and it wasn't working and the person at the desk wasn't the slightest bit helpful

“Unfortunately, the pool had no water in it when I arrived and no one told me that I could use the pool next door (I overheard them tell a person checking in on my way out) When you go to Miami and have a lot of down time, you would normally like to sit by the pool and relax. I could have if someone had told me. The breakfast was very skimpy. There was no fruit, yogurt or anything other than oatmeal and toast. The bowls were tiny and so were the muffins. Every place I've been to that had breakfast had a lot more to offer.”

• The room was big.
• Pool was not working.

“Great hotel for families traveling with children who are planning long stay in the Miami area. Rooms have everything needed for cooking, full size frig, dishwasher, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. A/C was great with temp. control. MY room had two full size beds and a sofa bed, color TV, radio-alarm clock, two phones, eating table/desk type setup, two office type chairs, full bath. All around clean and nice.The hotel is very well kept and the staff is friendly. This hotel is close to many restaurants which range from fast food to home style Cuban cooking. Its located between I-95 and the Palmeto Expressway - minutes away from North Miami, Calle 8, Kendall(South Miami)and steps way from the Miami International Airpor. This is a good 2.5 star Hotel.”

• reservation was not guranteed

“Staff just told us there was no way she could settle us down and she wanted to send us to another Homestead hotel. We argued and waited for about one hour. Finally another staff found an uncleaned room and promised he would clean it himself. We got the room at the 1am next day. It was really a terrible experience.”

• Helpful, friendly staff at desk.
• No shuttle service from airport after 8 pm.

• It's cheap and the room has a nice full kitchen.
• The free breakfast is too simple.

“It's cheap but nice. Next to international air port and 8 miles from Miami beach. Room is large and has a nice full kitchen. Every thing is pretty new.”

• The rooms were large. Free airport shuttle.
• Staff was horrible. Sheets smelled really bad.

“You get what you pay for in this hotel. Don't expect much from the staff. Rooms are spacious but not very clean. Spent 4 days without any maid service.”

“It was not clean and they had us down for THREE reservations! There were no nice restaurants in the area and the staff was quite incompetent. We won't stay at another Homestead Suite.”
