“We would stay in this hotel again under the same circumstances. We would have preferred queen beds instead of double beds. The cleanliness, breakfast, and friendliness and helpfulness of the staff were great, except for trying to communicate with the cleaners who didn't speak English.”

“When it was time to check out there was no one at the front desk and took about ten minutes for someone to show up. The hotel was acceptable but would not recommend it for someone coming in at night, it was a little hard to find, the streets are not marked clearly and even with map quest we had a hard time finding the hotel.”

“I only stayed the night with a late check in in. The room was very nice and clean, nice thick towels. The small sitting room was comfortable and pleasant. The entrance to the hotel needs to be more visible since its the only entrance before you cross a waterway. Once you cross the waterway; its about 2-3 blocks before you can make a u-turn. I have a pleasant stay.”

“For this trip, I was there for pleasure for the weekend to visit south beach. I love Marriott very much overall. Compared with the Somerset Marriott in new jersey I stayed in last year, the spring hill Marriott is lacking greatly in the amenities in the rooms, neglected my maintenance request to correct the lack of hot water in the shower, the front desk clerk, ms. Williams argued with me about my stay not being linked to my Marriott rewards, and lastly, the free breakfast buffet was less than desirable with dried out egg patties and overcooked sausage. People had to make their own waffles and bus their own tables. This location needs to take lessons from the Somerset Marriott in new jersey if the spring hill Marriott ever wants to achieve a 3 star rating like the Somerset location. Although I paid $12 for the breakfast buffet at the Somerset location, it was first class in my opinion and I was catered by the staff and treated properly befitting a 3 star hotel. Due to the lack of seating at the spring hill Marriott, I felt rushed to eat fast because of others standing around waiting for tables. Also, I had to avoid stepping in French fries thrown in the hot elevator!”

“The hotel is not far and is located near the Hwy for easy access onto the Miami metro mass transit system. The rooms are more spacious than your standard hotel room.”

“We waited over an hour for the hotel shuttle to appear after placing two calls. The shuttle did not even stop at the designated pickup and only another traveler onboard saw us frantically waving our arms when he roared past. The hotel location is very isolated and a taxi would be required for any need. Only a breakfast service was provided and no food is available after 10 am.”

“Non-smoking facility, but our room reeked of smoke and were not offered a new room. We had two rooms under the same reservation, but were put on different floors. Staff did not mention that airport shuttle runs only on the hour in the mornings. We had to call our own taxi and spent $30 to get to the airport on time, as we had just missed the shuttle. Hotel is far from any restaurants or stores. Shuttle driver blared the radio and wasn't too friendly.”

“We liked everything about this hotel. For the price, it was better than more expensive hotels we've stayed in on the east coast of flap. We would highly recommend this very fine hotel to anyone!”
