“I told the staff that they need to fumigate the room due to the fact that I was bitten all night by something, and the only response I got was "Thank you". There was no concern over the numerous bites that I had on my face and body either from the staff at this location or from the main office. I travel a lot, and this was the first negative experience I have had anywhere. Of course, this was the first time I have stayed at a La Quinta Inn. I went home and scrubbed myself for hours, and I still don't feel clean. Not only was I bitten all night, but the room was dirty. The carpet was dirty and stained, and you could see where the dirt was mopped into the corners in the bathroom. There was even a quarter on the floor which I assume a previous guest had dropped. The room obviously hadn't been cleaned appropriately since then. If it is cleaned the way it was before I stayed there, the quarter is probably still on the floor. I would not be so upset had I even received an apology and a promise that the room would be fumigated so that other guests don't have to go through the same thing which I did. I complained to the main office and still received no apology or promise that the problem would be handled.”

“Very filthy rooms: smelly, unswept, carpet was very old and very stained throughout. Poor staffing: only one person at desk who was too busy to properly help customers, very rude and unfriendly housekeeping staff who apparently take no pride in their work.”

“I have stayed at this hotel several times. The staff at the front desk can be scarce at times, but helpful when you can find them. The layout of the rooms makes you feel more like you're at a vacation house than a hotel. The rooms are quite clean; however the bathroom tile flooring needs more attention between guests. The comfort of the mattresses is the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. I have a bad back and it is so nice to be able to sleep well away from home. There are only two drawbacks for me. The TV service seems to be a satellite company that doesn't carry some of my favorite basic channels; however you will get multiple HBO's. Lastly, there is no wireless internet. The wired internet in the rooms works ok, but I have had problems with it since my first stay at this property. It loses connection frequently and the tech support company says everything is working properly. Hmmm? Overall, a great value and nice place to stay.”

“This was a comfortable, hotel experience. It met all of our expectations. It was clean, heat/air worked well, ample towels provided without asking, and convenient to everything - lots of chooses for food, etc. We would definitely stay again.”

“The hotel is will located for business or leisure travel due to the fact that it is near to everything from entertainment, shopping, restaurants and down town. The out door pool is great for the price.”

“I booked this room for my parents (in their 60's). They originally had a reservation at a low-2-star down the road. This hotel was a high 2-star, much better location, nicer rooms & lobby and with "name-your-price" we paid less than the cheaper hotel down the road. ”

“The most impressive part of this stay was the friendliness of the manager on duty the night I checked in. She was also quickly responsive to a problem with the toilet leaking and fixed it herself. The rooms were clean and spacious. The windows opened which is a plus for temperature control and air freshness. Breakfast was fine.”
