“You get what you pay for obviously. Its a safe area it seems. The continental breakfast sucks more that usual. The rooms are well equipped with a microwave and fridge which is a definite plus. The outside structure makes this hotel look great, but once you step inside you see the tacky lobby and dirty hallway carpeting, which makes you think twice about staying there. ”

“The only problem the ceiling fan was not operating on high speed correctly. Air conditioner rattled. The stay was still very good.”

“I lived in the Wellesley Inn Miami Airport in Miami. The shuttle bus drives are really low-efficient and careless. They just drive pass the meeting place at a speed of 20 mph without any stop. No one can catch that bus. And there are no free local phone and no internet access. They only provide a pay computer at the price of 25 cents per minute. To my experience, that computer is bad.”

“The hotel was a little further away from the airport then I expected. The sheets looked as if they had been slept in, but I was too exhausted to make a fuss. I had not been aware of the fact that the hotel provides shuttle service from/to the airport. The breakfast, which was included in the price was more than adequate.”

“It was like a motel 6. Very uninviting lobby and Spanish seemed to be the main language. Free airport shuttle left late on the morning of departure while the driver was handling a Spanish speaking customer even while I was complaining that I had a flight to catch. Would never stay there again”

“This place is the best at its star level that I've tried so far in the Doral area, and is an excellent value for money paid.”

“We stayed at Wellesley Inn & Suites in Miami during Hurricane Jeanne for 4 days prior to a cruise vacation. The hotel and the staff were exceptional, and the price we got was even better.”

“I made two reservations, one in Miami for myself and one in L.A. for my wife, Alicia, because I was out of town and decided I did not want her to stay home alone. This survey covers the Furama Hotel in L.A. My wife stayed there from Thursday, Sep. 23 to Monday, Sep. 27. The condition of the hotel and her room (No. 370) was extremely poor. They asked her for an extra $8.80 a day to park her car in their premises. She declined and parked outside. On the night of Saturday, September 25th. she heard weird noises all night and like someone wanted to open her door. She practically did not sleep and left at 6:30 a.m. for home. Management was simply non-existent to complaint. Sunday, my wife decided not to go back to the hotel, stayed home and did not return that night to her room. Monday she went to check-out and discovered her room was occupied during the night, that her toiletries and a Teddy Bear were taken from the room and cigarette butts were on the night-stand. After getting the run-around by various employees, she finally got a hold and complained to the assistant manager, who gave her a card with the name Maria Becerra crossed out and hand-wrote his name with a pen. She was poorly treated and obtained no answers from this gentleman.”

“The hallway had a smell of dog, but the room was clean and more than I expected, having a fridge and extra room. The staff was not that friendly, but is quite usual for airport type hotels. I got yelled at by the cleaning lady (in spanish for walking on the wet floor) to get a cup of coffee.”

“This hotel is very old and I paid $30 per night + Tax and it's worth just that! The hotel is in a great area and close to the airport!”
