• The price.

“Not very updated and "cold" both physically as well as decoratively. The knob was broken on the air conditioner so I could not turn it down or off! (But Florida is hot so I was ok!) There were several things that I saw that could have been better but the price was nice.”

• Good Breakfast Bar.
• Bathrooms are a bit dated.

“This hotel is fine, nothing special, but nothing bad. We had a request for two beds and were told they had none when we checked in. However after I sent me girlfriend to the same guy at the counter, all the sudden we got two beds. Rooms are clean and other then that one guy the staff is very nice.”

• The room its self was very nice and clean.
• The people at the desk were unprofessional, pool had no shade, halls & elevator needed cleaning and updating.

“Although the room was nice and clean the rest of the hotel didn't feel welcoming. The halls and elevator needed updating and cleaning. The pool had no shade or tables. The staff at the desk seemed distance and uninterested in their jobs. But again the room its self was nice.”

• Customer friendly.
• Reception area, customers having food. Generally it needs to replace all room furniture, TV, and carpets. its used and abused.

• Conveniently located next to the Florida turnpike.
• Very noisy.

• Close to highway and mall. Away from city so there is not much traffic.
• Location. The surrounding looks like ghetto in rebuild. Every restaurant is Mexican.

“Room is clean. Very close to Florida turnpike and US-1. Next to the Southland Mall. The neighborhood seems to be in the middle of rebuilding. Car dealer everywhere.”

• Noise and staff that didn't care about the noise level.

“I was really impressed with the hotel, considering the price. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the pool area, though small, was nice and well-maintained.”

• Convenient to turnpike, fast food and quick shopping.
• Shorted me on towels, I shower twice a day.

“Clean, breakfast ok for the early riser, quiet, staff was helpful. not close to Central Miami, 20 minutes out in non rush traffic. 45 minutes from Downtown waterfront.”

• The staff was ready and able to handle our particular problem.
• Their handicap room (121) needs attending to. As a non-handicap person I had difficulty in the room.

“Our reservation for two rooms, a king and a double non-smoking, for three nights, was not fulfilled, as Miami had, at least, two very big events going on that weekend and we were participants of one of them. The staff assured us that that he would try to arrange that our next night's stay would be as reserved. Meanwhile, the king for my husband and myself became a handicap room with a double bed. This room, I thought, was most strangely laid out and not well planned, even if I had needed a handicap room. For the rest of our stay we had a lovely room and no complaints. We were asked to do a survey at end of our stay and for the problems/mix-up at our arrival we were given a gift certificate for a free nights stay from La Quinta.”

• It was available when others in the area were full.
• It is not particularly clean.

“The window in the room was like a Petri dish. Every mold and bug known to man was in the process of being cultured there. The floor was dirty to the point that your bare feet were black on the bottom. We were joined for breakfast (very nice breakfast) by a bag lady in from the street.”

• The location and parking.
• Cigarette burns on the bath tub and cigarette smell in the room.

“The hotel is conveniently located along US1. The room was generally clean, but could use a new paint job. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the bath tub had cigarette burns. I complained, but hotel staff could only offer a room freshener - not another room.”

• Hotel was clean, but could stand to be renovated soon.

“Hotel was quiet and clean. Hallways and lobby are starting to look dingy from age. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is somewhat inconvenient distance from Downtown/beaches. Small shopping mall and fast food close by.”
