• Entrance needs some work, hard to spot from the street.

• Waitress at the pool never brought me my drinks and I had to go to the bar and get them myself.

• The staff was courteous and quick to help.
• We received a smoking room (we are non smokers).

“We received a king size smoking bedroom for a family of four non-smokers. The room smelled really bad and we would not have fit in a king size bed all together. The staff was quick to help. They had no vacancies to move us to a better room, however, they offered to bring in an ionizer immediately and also brought to our room a roll away bed before we even got to the room after the check in desk.”

• The view from the room (top floor), equipment of the room.
• Parking not free for customers, small pool.

“It is perfectly located facing the beach. The unbelievable room we got was on the top floor with an amazing view on the beach, the marina, the International Swimming Hall of Fame. We got a junior suite which allowed us to fit our young son in the sofa bed. The staff treated us like any other customer.”

• The restaurant was very good.
• The rooms needed attention. Lots of patched holes and a few water spots.

“It was labeled as a Double Tree however other than the dining area, meeting rooms and lobby it felt like a motel 8.”

• Pool and amenities were very poor.

“Hotel was clean and great location and parking. But the pool was too small, kids pool was not heated and really didn't have a bar or restaurant to enjoy out by the pool.”

• On the beach. All rooms with a view. Very nice.
• Cigarette butts on the balcony, Dark colors in the room.

“Very nice stay. Staff very courteous and helpful. Food very good and tasty, especially the fire baked pizza. Would recommend and I would stay again.”

• 6th floor hospitality service was outstanding.
• Minor wallpaper pulled away from wall in bathroom under sink.

“Family of 9 (ages 8 to 70) vacation was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant was impressive. Beach was private and easily accessible. Rooms were clean. Parking was convenient and abundant. Location was excellent. All in all, this hotel will be a future destination for us as well.”

• Doubletree gave us a two double bed room.
• Parking lot was not well lit.

“The cocoa beach doubletree ocean front hotel is a relaxing, clean hotel in a beautiful ocean front location. The pool area is fabulous, the view is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and responsive. I would recommend this hotel to families, couples, and business travelers. I can't wait to go back!”

• Very well placed in cocoa beach. Terrific place for a weekend beach getaway.
• Some updating needs to occur, or there is a mold problem in some hallways. There was an odor that did not seem to go away.

“If you are looking for a family friendly hotel, close to the beach, this one was good. We visited during the off season. The staff was pleasant, our room was clean, the pool was wonderful and we enjoyed the beach. It was close to many activities in cocoa and also close to a number of restaurants. The hotel restaurant serves a very well rounded breakfast buffet that we enjoyed one morning.”

• The supposed Non-Smoking room smelled of smoke the whole time.

“My "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke and when I said something I was told I got the room I paid for. Would never stay there again. Other amenities were fine though.”

• Very comfortable hotel.
• A few cosmetic problems-some carpet could be re-stretched, sloppy paint jobs, etc. Loud air conditioner (cannot sit on balcony without turning off).

“A pleasant stay. Comfortable but not exactly outstanding. Although all the rooms have ocean views, most of them have better views of other hotels and condos. We had to turn off our AC to sit on the balcony because of the noise and heat coming from the unit. Nice size room for a family, but no place to hang swimsuits after a swim in the ocean or very small pool. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, but might also check out other hotels in the area.”
