“The staff was very nice, the pool was clean, the room was clean, we had no coffee for coffee pot when we arrived, staff gave us coffee but could not find a pot. They said to hold our cup under the stream when we make coffee. Also one ice machine was broken, we asked for a roll away bed which we received right away.”

“It was very convenient but it was so dirty that I was afraid to touch anything, and afraid to even sleep in the bed. Everything was damp to the touch like there was a moisture control problem throughout the room. We stayed for two nights, and the day that our room was supposed to have been cleaned from the previous night, we could tell that none of the linens had been changed. On the plus side, I will say that the staff was friendly and the store located in the lobby that sold Marine items was very reasonable. The breakfast buffet was good and it was much cleaner there than in the room. I would just strongly suggest that the owners do a complete upgrade of the place. Something needs to be done about the moisture control because even our clothes were damp after a night in the room. It smelled in the room like mold and cigarette smoke, though it was supposedly a no smoking room. The fact that it is so close to the Island is a huge plus, but with the condition of our room, I would not recommend this motel to anyone and I would definitely not stay there again. We didn't see the point in complaining to the manager because we were there for such a short time. But something definitely needs to be done to improve it. It could be a great place.”

“The hotel staff was very welcoming and provided me with my room promptly. The room colors were an odd yellow and green, but the bed was comfortable and the AC was working very well! The continental breakfast was good, but the cereal bar was missing milk (like it was never put out). The bathroom was fine except for the small amount of hair that was on the floor near the toilet. Loved the free USA Today!”

“Inexpensive and clean enough to be comfortable, but it's definitely the kind of place you stay in as just a place to sleep during your trip.”

“This hotel was convenient to many locations and sites in the Beaufort area. The staff was mediocre in their service and knowledge. The hotel room was clean, but had a smell. The microwave offered was very dirty and unusable. The small refrigerator was convenient, although was not kept well. The bathroom was clean, but lacking in toiletries. This hotel was good to spend the night inexpensively, however, the beds did leave the traveler weary.”

“I'm sure a lot of families stay at this hotel because of the proximity to Parris Island. You would think with so many military families staying here that the hotel would at least have the courtesy to remodel the hotel and have a pleasant, nice, clean establishment for families to stay. I was very disappointed.”

“Very poor quality. Staff unfriendly. Rooms not cleaned. When serviced by housekeeping, no new linen was left; had to request same from front desk.”

“Was not satisfied with our stay. The phone didn't work because there was no cord. We needed a wake up call with no phone, we tried the alarm clock but that wouldn't work either. The police were all over the place on graduation day morning. We found out later there were pipe bombs laying along the hotel grass. Not a comfortable feeling. We would have rather stayed 30 miles away and had the inconvenience of driving further.”

“The best thing that this hotel has going is location. The place was filthy. The phone had no cord. For the free continental breakfast, they ran out of a lot of things by Friday. Noisy place. 2 miles from Parris Island is the only thing that was a plus. I would have rather stayed at a clean hotel 30 miles away and made the drive. Very disappointed.”

“They said that the days inn we were staying at had a inside pool and it didn't, it was outside. It was a nice stay other then there was allot of loud workers staying in rooms beside us that were loud at bedtime it could have been a nicer stay but it wasn't bad! Friendly restaurant was really good!”
