• It was very unsafe, My children and
  I felt so unsafe we checked out the same day we checked in and never spent the night.

“The room we were placed in was right outside the pool. When we tried to access the pool the sliding door fell off the hinge, then we and maintenance had a hard time getting it back on track and locked. Maintenance admitted to having problems with the sliding door for weeks. The key cards would not work. A prior guest had punched a hole in the bathroom door.”

• Nothing it was disgusting.
• Dirty, nasty breakfast, floor had stuff on it, pillows stained, towels had hair on it.

“The Howard Inn in Beaufort was the worst and most overpriced hotel I have ever seen. There was paper and a cue tip under the sink on the floor. Our pillows where stained, and my whole group agreed with me it was messed up. I had to apologize to my friends. I will never stay in one again.”

• Could use some fine tuning in maintenance.

“I could tell it has been recently improved. The sliding glass door didn't operate correctly. The drapes were hanging sloppily. The desk clerk, though he was excellent, was by himself at a busy time, and could have used an extra hand the night before a big day.”

• The service at the front desk at check in, the service I got when called the desk.
• Having to move from my original room to a room that smell of smoke.

• Staff was friendly, very convenient location.
• Bathroom tub was not the cleanest, had to get cleanning supplies before I could shower. Pool was closed.

“I you are going for a brief stay in Parris Island this location was relatively okay. Convenient to base and accesible with 10 min to everything in town.”

• Nothing.
• Nasty, no sign lit-up at night, unfriendly staff, overbooked, went up on price.

“The hotel looked like it was under construction I have never been so disappointed in life one of the rooms had a guest already in it which was so awkward. The nonsmoking rooms smell of strong smoke, to be honest this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!”

• Convenience to where we needed to be at parries island.
• Furnishings old and worn, room cleaning was poor.

“While I needed to stay at a less expensive hotel, Ive never had an experience in 1 2 hotels where the rooms weren't at least cleaned, vacuumed, previous peoples trash emptied, etc. Even though' staff said they're in process of updating all rooms, the things that were wrong have to do with ongoing quality of cleaning and maintenance.”

• Great Marsh view out our back window.
• New orange paint looks tacky.

• Nice pool.
• Bed covers where shabby & lamp shade had burn stains.

“This hotel is right before you get in town. Fifty dollar would be the suggested price and nothing more! The bedspreads where shabby and the curtains where drab at best. What was the scariest thing was the burn in the lampshade and the air was off. It was hot and uncomfortable.”

“At a place where all motels raise prices for Paris Island Marine recruit graduations, was average Unfortunately marred by forgetting a purse at breakfast and discovering too much later, $80.00 had been taken.”
