“I could tell it has been recently improved. The sliding glass door didn't operate correctly. The drapes were hanging sloppily. The desk clerk, though he was excellent, was by himself at a busy time, and could have used an extra hand the night before a big day.”

“The hotel looked like it was under construction I have never been so disappointed in life one of the rooms had a guest already in it which was so awkward. The nonsmoking rooms smell of strong smoke, to be honest this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!”

“While I needed to stay at a less expensive hotel, Ive never had an experience in 1 2 hotels where the rooms weren't at least cleaned, vacuumed, previous peoples trash emptied, etc. Even though' staff said they're in process of updating all rooms, the things that were wrong have to do with ongoing quality of cleaning and maintenance.”

“Staff was nice. New owners trying to update the hotel. Will be nice when the construction is completed.”

“This hotel is right before you get in town. Fifty dollar would be the suggested price and nothing more! The bedspreads where shabby and the curtains where drab at best. What was the scariest thing was the burn in the lampshade and the air was off. It was hot and uncomfortable.”

“At a place where all motels raise prices for Paris Island Marine recruit graduations, was average Unfortunately marred by forgetting a purse at breakfast and discovering too much later, $80.00 had been taken.”

“My one year old stepped on a rusty nail which followed with a trip to the emergency room. The windows were greasy, the rooms were growing mold, wood trim was rotten, trash receptacle were overflowing. There is a Greyhound bus station next door, and lots of construction/road workers staying on property. Needless to say it was a terrible experience and we spent our only night in this beautiful town finding another hotel.”

“Disgusting. This place needs to be bull dozed down and start over. Walls need painting, electrical
wiring exposed where the air conditioning connects to wall that was duct taped. Caulking in the bathroom sink where someone squirted all around the inside sink and left gobs of it exposed that had turned brown. The handle on the doors of most rooms were sagging and we had to get the front desk to open the door several times. Not only us but others as well. Oh, and major dried blood on mattresses.”
