• The room was clean and nice.
• The breakfast was not what they told us and the cable had problems for 2 days.

“It was very nice inside and out. Lots of activities. It would be a great place for an extended stay.”

• I thought the room was clean and quite nice.
• I had to switch rooms as the TV didn't work.

“The front desk employees were warm and friendly. The hotel was conveniently located and 5 minutes from the Verizon Amphitheatre. The room was clean and comfortable with an upgraded kitchen and bath. Very nice for the price.”

• Decent rooms.
• Pathetic service and staff.

“The cleaning staff is horrible. The common areas carpet is pathetic. Half the staff doesn't understand English, so its very difficult to communicate. Repeated requests for service are left unnoticed. A bad place to stay if you have children. They have nothing to do in the hotel. There is no recreational activity at the hotel. The breakfast is so-so. Better a other places.”

• Update decor with clean rooms and all the comforts of home.
• Nothing at all.

“Close to my business appointment, friendly service with a can-do attitude to help you. The breakfast was better than most hotels that I have recently stayed and it's free. They never ran out of today's newspapers. Clean rooms with all the accommodations of being at home. Why stay anywhere else.”

• Beautiful room, comfortable bed, like a furnished appartment.
• Well there were some children up above us that kept running around and stomping and we could hear it down stairs, but we didn't complain.

“It was far better than I had expected. Everything looked new, very well maintained and everything you could need was there except for the food of course, but they had a wonderful breakfast every morning, hot and cold. Someone was actually cooking and keeping the containers full with hot foods. I will definitely stay there again.”

• New kitchen appliances.
• Bugs in tub, not waste baskets in bathroom, no elevator, trailer park setting.

“Visited GA and stayed in Residence Inn and loved it. Came to Charlotte stayed at Residence Inn hated it. In Charlotte, it's like a trailer park. No elevators, dirty tiled floors, sink stopper did not work. Cleaning lady did not come when we went out. Had to call for maid service and towels. I disliked the hotel so much I checked out with my family and went to a different hotel across the street. I could not stay another night in this place. No one in my family cared for it and we were glad to switch to a different hotel. All kitchen utensils extremely dirty and sticky. Other Residence Inns may earn 3 stars, but not this one. Run! I didn't even want their free breakfast.”

• Very convienent to many eateries.
• Asked for extra sheets/blankets for the kids. Was not accomodated.

“Comfortable, convienent (within walking distance)to many restaurants and major roads. Nice pool for the kids but being so close to major streets made it loud at times. Nice room with full size fridge, stove, dishwasher, plates, silverware. Only negative is that I requested extra sheets/blankets for the kids before leaving for an outing. When returned later that night no extras.”

• Spacious room, full kitchen, fireplace, long counter and mirror in dressing area.
• Breakfast was ok, nothing special.

“Great value for the amount of space. Would definitely stay here again.”

• Liked the layout of the room.
• Asked for smoke free room but it was evident that the room was used for smoking.

“We were generally pleased with the room except for the fact that the room was not a smoke free room. You could smell the smoke and there was cigarette ash under the edge of the couch.”

• Centrally located to where I wanted to be.
• 5am trash dumpster p/u both mornings waking me and family.

“Very poor sofa bed, needs replacement of mattress and no ice machine for guest. Would not stay here again.”
