• Person who checked us in was Extremely friendly and personable.
• Felt a little "busy" - see below.

“The hotel was a little "busy" for our family, having more of a business traveler feel. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. Our view left something to be desired, however. Lots of eating options nearby. A good location, but our kids like to use the exercise room; we didn't feel comfortable letting them use the equipment (treadmills) because enough adults were coming and going and we thought they might get annoyed a 9-year old was using some of the equipment.”

• The workout facilities were excellent and the location is perfect.
• The birds in the trees in the parking lot made a mess of the car. Will not park next to a tree next time.

• The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was comfy and clean!
• There was a dripping noise that was rather loud.

“This was a very nice, clean hotel conveniently located off of the interstate near Charlotte. It was also convenient to several eating and shopping areas.”

• Convenient and clean.
• The room I had was next to the laundry room or something noises all night long plus no refrigerate in room also the pop machine down the hall way had.

“It was good they should have refrigerates in all rooms. If your not going to have them then have bottled water in pop machines.”

• The room was one of the most comfortable for a business traveler that I have ever stayed in.
• The elevators were very slow.

“The hotel was ideally located, easy to get to with plenty of eating choices nearby. The facilities were clean and comfortable, plenty of desk space in the room, good lighting, and steady internet access. The staff was accommodating, allowing late check out without hesitation. Great stay!”

• Wonderful beds and pillows. Quiet.
• Internet was slow and inconsistent. No free breakfast.

“I was upgraded to the Hilton which is a three star property. I would prefer a 2.5 star property that has better wireless internet and free breakfast. The hotel was very clean and the room was comfortable. Nice flat screen TV. Also, the front desk refused to rent me a roll-away bed because they claimed you could only have three occupants in a room if there was one bed in it. Overall, everything worked out fine.”

• Everything. Location was perfect, beds & pillows were very comfortable & room was very clean.

“Great time and so looking forward to staying there again. I would indeed recommend this hotel to anyone traveling. My daughter and I look forward to our next stay when we visit Charlotte in the future.”

• Price for the room.

“I was not impressed very much, the only good thing was the breakfast, hallways were unattractive dark colors, rooms were ok and I was glad they did not match up with the ugly hallways, however, the water temperature dials in the shower were reverse, the cold was really hot and hot was really cold, this was discovered after an engineer had to come to my room at 11:30 pm to check it out.”

• The room was beautiful. Did not have the standard "hotel" feel. Enjoyed the little extras that were complimentary.
• Noise from the hallway was not well insulated.

“Would stay here again if the price was in our price point. The room was spacious and attractively decorated. The hotel was convenient to shopping, restaurants and a walking path. I would definitely recommend it to others.”

• Walking distant to shops, restaurants, and man-made lake with walking trails; saved gas by exploring and enjoying the nearby bonus hotel amenities.
• None.

“This hotel has great bonus amenities nearby. We were able to save some gas by spending time on the boardwalk; walking around the lake, paddle boat ride and local restaurants and bars. Only thing we could find wrong with the hotel was the fact that that weekend there was a family reunion and two wedding ceremonies. In other words the hotel was busy.”
