• Pool and bathroom was filthy, poor overall upkeep at the facilities.

• Outside halls and building need to be cleaned and painted.

• Nothing.
• We were given a smoking room when we requested a non-smoking room and upon entering our room the toilet was broken with a dirty tank.

“Upon check in at the hotel the front desk receptionist was not helpful in getting us a non-smoking room. She also did not seem happy to go out of her way to help us. Although we had asked for three nights, after the first night we left first thing in the morning to get out of the smoky smell that enveloped our room. We would never recommend this particular hotel to any of our friends.”

• Great location, excellent parking, convenient restaurant next door, room comfortable.
• As always could use more reading light.

• Free wireless internet, ease of check in and out.
• No fitness area, rented bikes in place of this, but wasn't helpful to me.

“This hotel was what I expected at the star level, I was very pleased with its location in relationship to my travel purpose. Several restaurants were conveniently located close by. The area was very nice and the staff was polite and professional and helpful when needed.”

• Roaches in the room. Closed pool for 2 days. breakfast area doubled as a storage area for dusty mirrors and TVs.

“Don't stay here. And if you do, and have any sort of issues, expect nothing more than a letter after filing the complaint.”

• For the money it was ok.
• Outdated.

“Older hotel. Clean, but showing age. Mirror cleaned so many times, missing a lot of the plating, handles falling off of dresser, stains on bedspread. Did have fridge, microwave and internet. Ok for the money, but not sure I would stay there again.”

• The guest were to noisy outside my room door!

• Clean, comfortable room with nice big TV and friendly staff.
• Furniture slightly outdated.

“Clean, comfortable rooms with a nice size TV, friendly staff, and complimentary bicycles. There was ample parking on a busy weekend and the hotel has a nice pool area. The room is pretty basic but had decent beds with big, fluffy pillows and cold AC. It doesn't get much better!”

• Nice location with restaurants and shops very close by.
• The room was cleaned but no soap was refilled etc. The toilet was flushing water all the time and the air condition was making too much noise.

“I wouldn't recommend this place to stay. The maintenance should be better and equipments have to be checked and staff well trained. The towels were washed but was dirty.”

• Very reasonable price in a nice vacation spot.
• Breakfast area had poor layout and poor lighting.

“My wife and I were looking for a low price stay at a nice vacation spot, and that is what we got. It was the quality level that we expected. The complimentary 2-hour bike rental was nice so that we could ride on Hilton Head Island. The breakfast area was usually loud and hectic in the mornings, but other than that, the stay was all we could expect.”
