• The staff was nice, friendly and efficient, the hotel was clean.
• I wanted to get in the pool the last day of our stay and it was not clean.

“Overall, we had a nice stay, I would stay there again if I have to return to the area. I was pleased with the accommodations, I was just upset that on the last day of our stay I wanted to go swimming before we checked out and there were bugs all in the pool, on the surface and the pool floor, complete turnoff, was not happy about that. It would have been nice to have a microwave in the room.”

• Pool was nice.
• Air conditioner leaked and carpet was wet in room.

“Hotel was conveniently located to several area attractions. Room was adequate but the air conditioner leaked and no maintenance was done during our stay. Hotel was very stingy on towels.”

• I liked the continental breakfast area and variety of breakfast foods.
• The desk clerk blamed on the morning clerk. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor.

“The location to attractions in Wheeling and Ohio was great. The cleanliness of the hotel was poor. The breakfast area was one of the best I have seen as far as location, arrangement, and variety of foods. But drinks, (OJ and apple juice) were out and never refilled as well as some cereals and butter. The area was not clean. It needed to be swept and tables wiped. When we were checked in the clerk did not speak and she wasn't too friendly. She gave us a room that already had someone in it. When we got to that room, the woman staying in it said, we were the second couple trying to get in her room. Then when we went back, the clerk blamed that on the morning staff, and then told us she only had on queen left like that was our fault.”

• King bed, smoking room, very clean.
• Not easy to access.

• Easy to get into from the highway.
• Terrible smell, poor breakfast, cold water in shower, threadbare linens and towels.

“The place did not meet our expectations at all. The whole place looks dull and depressing; the rooms were uncomfortable and had a fishy smell. The breakfast room smelled intolerably and we could not sit there for more than 2 minutes. There was just one bath towel which was as thin as a sheet and the linens were threadbare. We do not stay in a lot of luxury hotels and did not expect one but this was dreadful. We would not recommend the place to our enemies. It disappointed me for the first time in 4 years.”

• The staff.
• Clogged drains.

“Cobs webs on curtains ripped/torn wall paper sink stopper not working tub draining slow shower goes from cold to hot to cold with no warning and no other usage in that room toilet flushes slow and not all goes down. Never will I stay there again at that particular day's inn.”
