“Great location at the heart of downtown Charlotte. Nightlife and many good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Rooms and nice but tiny. Lobby area needs some major improvements.”

“This was a good deal with a Priceline rate. I would have been very disappointed had I paid the full price. Very much the center-of-the-city experience, would be great for business travelers, for whom the service is obviously geared - very matter-of-fact, speedy, but few smiles. Room decor showed its age. I would call it a 3 - 3.5 star experience.”

“This hotel was extremely nice, clean, comfortable and had a very accommodating, friendly staff. The beds were extremely comfortable. We had a really great nights sleep. The hotel staff notified us that there was noise outside at night and provided a sleep kit if we needed one.”

“I liked the hotel, until I was trying to sleep at night, and until about 3am there was a gentleman in the square next to the hotel preaching on a microphone. Now I love free speech, and I have nothing against the message, just the time. I called the front desk, to see if they would do anything about it and a snooty staffer said he couldn't do anything about it, except "check" to see if there was another room available for me to move to. Which, obviously, I wasn't going to move at 3am the morning I check out. Luckily I had earplugs. Other than that, the hotel was superb.”

“Great romantic getaway in one of their two signature suites. While the suites cannot be booked with Priceline, the reservation was easily upgraded by contacting the hotel staff.Only disappointment was the pool area. While listed as a "rooftop" pool, it was on the roof of the 1st floor. Not very large and no hot tub was available. Also many people at the pool were smoking. I would prefer a non-smoking pool area.”

“I had to stand in line waiting for the Clerk who kept on waiting on other people not in line. I checked in with a BOA Debit Card. Clerk asked for a Credit Card, gave him cash for prepaid valet service, he gave me no explanation regarding the Debit Card. Left 10:30 in the AM & came back at 6:40 PM. Room had not been cleaned. Went to the desk and asked to have the room cleaned. Came back at 10:30 PM. Room had been cleaned somewhat, same mat in the bathroom, coffee maker had not been cleaned, coffee mix had not been replenished, trash near the room desk was not emptied.”

“Our bed was extremely comfortable. Our dead TV remote was replaced within minutes of our call. Nighttime re-entry into the hotel is not easy to figure out if you chose to walk and leave the car parked.”
