• We loved the free Wi-Fi.
• The fitness room was not very well equipped compared to other hotels I've stayed in.

“The room was moderately small, and the furnishings felt somewhat cheap, but functional. The hallway design made the hotel feel like a motel, but this did offer convenience in getting to our car quickly. The staff was very nice.”

• Daily maid service fell slightly below expectations but overall good.

• Convenient exit doors.
• Small tiny beds, lack of promptness in cleaning.

“This hotel was substandard. We got a room with full sized beds which were barely big enough for one person. The clerk who checked us in was unfriendly and didn't program our key cards correctly, which we didn't discover till we were already on the third floor. The maids also waited until 5 PM to clean our room which was frustrating because we went out at 11 AM and came back at 2 PM to find the bed still a mess and no fresh towels. I wouldn't stay here ever again even though the location is great.”

• The breakfast was good, with lots of variety, good prices, friendly staff, and even has made to order omelettes, eggs etc.
• The carpet did not seem to be very clean, but most hotel carpets aren't. Take slippers.

“This hotel was very good and we were completely satisfied with this hotel and would try to stay there again. Was actually cleaner than the 3 star one we usually stay in.”

• The room was awesome, and my daughter loved the pool.
• The whirlpool was down for renovations, very disappointing!

“This hotel was great! Very convenient and easy to get to, and right in the heart of South Park, it's walking distance to the mall, restaurants, etc. Checking in took less than five minutes, the staff was very polite. The rooms were very clean but I was a little upset because I couldn't get a smoking room even though I had requested one. However, there was no big deal, as we were able to smoke off of our own balcony. The pool was really nice, and my daughter cried when I made her get out. My fiance and I were upset that the whirlpool was down for renovations and repair, but that motivated us to hit the mall, which was just a few blocks. Our sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. I loved the down pillows and king size bed and my daughter loved the pull out sofa for her own. This was a wonderful stay and we do plan on coming back!”

• Maybe if we had stayed longer than one night we would have found something.

“Not one of the newest, but definitely one of the best Courtyards I've stayed in. I've not had any problems at all in a few stays there. Having the Wall Street Journal each day is a nice touch.”

• The staff at the hotel was very friendly and professional
• The hotel need upgrades and renovations the carpet was worn and old and the rooms were dark and cold.

• smoke smell permeated the non-smoking room

“The hotel was great in all areas except the smoke smell in our non-smoking room. The smell permeated everything in the room including our luggage.”

• In one of the best areas of the City, it is very quiet.
• Was given a smoking room and I am a non-smoker

“The Courtyard by Marriot in SouthPark is a nice hotel in a residential area. It is extremely close to an upscale mall and other upscale businesses, shops and eateries. A perfect location for a weekend getaway.”

• Excellent location in South Park. Easy to find from interstate.
• I would have liked a non-smoking room, but none were available.

“As I said, excellent location. South Park Mall and Phillips Place were less than one block away. Very easy to find from the interstate, with friendly, helpful staff. Express checkout was great too. Room was clean and as expected for this type of rating.”
