• The room was clean. Room service was excellent. The staff at the hotel were pleasant.
• One of the telephone jacks in my room had a shortage. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

“The hotel was clean. The staff was pleasant. My room was very nice. I loved the furniture. The bed was very comfortable. I also loved the fact that you can control the temperature in the room. My stay was very comfortable. The room service was excellent.”

• The beds were remarkably comfortable.
• Wi-Fi access is not free for all rooms / rates / booking classes.

“I was extremely pleased overall with the property. My only issue was that Wi-Fi was not included per my booking class / room rate. Only certain rooms and rates get this, all others pay $9.95 per day - even though the Guest Directory gives conflicting information and instructions. Also, I was a little worried that the guest floors were not secure. Anyone, whether a hotel guest or not, could access guest room floors, which seems somewhat out of step with contemporary standards at hotels of this class and higher, especially located in a downtown area.”

• Room and staff were very nice.
• The food services was horrible in breakfast restaurant.

“Rooms are nice if that is all you plan on doing inside the hotel. There is basically no lobby and very cold feeling uncomfortable feeling in restaurant bar area. Staff in restaurant were very very slow and under trained and very expensive. Recommend eating out for every meal.”

• It's proximity to the bank of America stadium and great dining downtown within walking distance.
• The down comforter and pillows. I am allergic to feathers!

• It was very clean!

• There was no pool.

“This hotel was awful. There was no pool at the hotel. You needed to pay at the YMCA to use a pool. The shower was also awful. There was no water pressure. The water just trickled out of the faucet.”

• The pool facilities were associated with the YMCA and guest had to pay to use them.

“The hotel and staff were great. Room service was very good. The only downside to staying at this hotel was the fact that you had to pay to swim and use any of the exercise equipment.”

“I would not stay here again because: 1) Had to walk through a meeting room set up to get from parking lot to lobby 2) Room had shower only, no tub unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.”

“The hotel is cozy and business friendly. The staff was attentive and helpful. The hotel charges $18 daily, the parking garage operator charges $5 daily on the weekend.”

“Well situated hotel in the center the Charlotte business district. Close to all downtown key points and within walking distance of a sports and entertainment arena. Excellent business hotel as well as for week end traveler.”

• The front desk staff was not friendly at all.

“I loved everything, except the front desk staff. They were not friendly and even seemed to have an attitude. I was not aware that it cost $18 to park overnight. Kind of pricey! Rooms and hotel were beautiful!! LOVED IT!”
