• Decor.
• Late night menu did not match reality of offerings.

“I strongly recommend that they update late menu or staff accordingly. I held off eating until late evening expecting to get a full meal as indicated by the menu and all I was able to obtain was a cold sandwich. No other options existed. Went to bed hungry.”

• The hotel Staff was the best of all the stay.
• Every little thing outside of about 8 channels on the TV had a surcharge attached. Even music.

“The Hilton is on the higher side, as hotels go. It has been remodeled and all but the only real difference between it and the Holiday Inn down the street was the service of the staff.”

• Clean, convenient.
• Numerous maintenance issues with room which I reported during checkout.

“Room was clean and nicely appointed. Very convenient location even with road construction in area. A number of maintenance issues (shower head sprayed from everywhere, shower leaked on to bathroom floor, sink faucet dripped).”

• The staff was all very friendly and helpful and the room was decorated nice.
• The air conditioning in the room was not working.

• Cleanliness room service loved the bed it was very comfortable.
• No microwave.

“I this motel was wonderful but I wish it had a small microwave to heat our left over food from eating out. U knows sometimes late night snacks come in handy.”

• Close to down town activity.
• Construction expensive parking.

“Front desk not friendly or very helpful, missing items in our room for instance coffee cup and wash clothes, no restaurant to eat at due to construction which we had no idea about that was so in convenient high cost of parking it just was not a very good experience and we were disappointed. Not money well spent.”

• Lovely, newly decorated room.
• Lots of construction going on.

“This hotel was an excellent buy. The room was beautifully appointed and the staff was helpful and friendly. There was a lot of renovation in progress but it did not detract from our stay. I would definitely revisit to see the final results.”

• The parking was costly, there was no hotel parking.

“This hotel was beautiful, the room was nice and clean as well. I would definitely stay here again. The only downfall was there was no hotel parking and you could park free on the street (weekends only) or pay to stay in the parking garage.”

• The best room service food I have had this year!
• $9.95 for Wi-Fi service.

“Other then the Wi-Fi charge this hotel is the tops. Great service from check in to check out. I stay in hotels 3 to 4 nights a week and this Hilton location was by far the best stay I have had this year!”

• The pool cost 12/day per person and was not open after 6 p.m. or before 12 p.m. on Sunday.

“Lots of construction. restaurant was closed. Gym cost a lot of money to go to and was closed for most of the weekend.”

• Hotel staff, nice TV.
• Dirty room, stained dirty carpet, $10 a day for internet, hair on bathroom floor, moldy shower, doors in disrepair.

“I would not stay here again. This hotel is in bad disrepair and there were obvious cleanliness issues with the room. The hotel is under remodeling in main areas and quite noisy. The hotel staff was helpful and attentive although I was appalled that this was considered a 4 star establishment. I have stayed in nicer 2.5 star hotels that were much cleaner.”

• In walking distance so Bobcat Arena and other attractions.
• A/C was not working when we arrived but it was repaired the next day.

“Very nice hotel, great location in downtown Charlotte. Came to town for a concert at Bobcat/Time Warner Arena. We were able to walk to the stadium along the sidewalk to the city's new train system. It took less than 10 mins to get there! Spacious rooms, comfy beds, nice bathrooms, and the flat screen was a big plus. Parking was a little weird (takes two elevators to get to your room) and expensive, but it wasn't so bad. Will definitely stay there again once the remainder of the renovations are completed.”

“Great room, first class furnishings. Got in too late to realize the A/C hardly worked and found the next morning that their was no hot water. Construction in the bar/restaurant was a pain.”
