• Beautiful room.
• The a la carte pricing for everything from coffee to continental breakfast.

“Beautiful room and wonderful service. However, I totally resent not being able to brew my own coffee in my room. They insisted that I have somebody make it and bring it to me (for a hefty charge), so I didn't get any coffee. Even the continental breakfast was a la carte. You had to pay for every banana and little box of cereal. In-room coffee and a general continental breakfast should be free. I will never stay here again because I felt taken advantage of. There are plenty of other fine hotels in Charlotte which don't nickel and dime you.”

• Loved the location and food, nice, clean and great employees.
• Tried to get a balcony but not available.

“Everyone was really nice and recognized my husband's birthday throughout our stay. We decided to eat dinner at the hotel, the first night and the service was excellent, food was delicious - we had dinner with several courses - they have a special menu where the chef comes out and just cooks everything based on what you like and dislike, so we didn't have to make any decisions we just ate and enjoyed.”

“This is definitely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It was spectacular! Next time I would like to stay there longer (it was just a weekend trip).”

• Location, Spa Treatments, Shopping.
• Tennis courts.

“Excellent boutique style hotel with beautiful landscaping and views from the golf side. I have stayed several times and the spa has really improved with a new array of organic treatments using local products and the service has also improved. This is the perfect place for a weekend getaway for girls or a romantic evening - dinner excellent as well and I travel frequently and this is definitely the best hotel restaurant I have eaten at.”

• The personalized attention by the staff and very nice room amenities.
• Noisy small children running in the halls.

“Over all this was an excellent experience and would be even more at times when the weather was conducive to using the outdoor amenities. The room decor and personalized attention by the staff was outstanding.”

• Spacious, clean, well-appointed room.
• Sunday brunch was not a good value.

“Convenient to Carolina Place mall, nice location, not far from luxury shopping at South Park Mall. Very nice lobby and friendly, attentive staff. Did not make use of the golf or other resort facilities.”
