• The location was good.
• The room was laid out well but that was it! The room was dirty and the bathroom was filthy.

“The outward appearance of the building and lobby is very deceiving, they both looked modern and clean. The room was something else. It was dirty and the bathroom walls were filthy! I definitely would not stay there again or recommend this motel to anyone. Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired.”

• Clean pool and Jacuzzi.
• Mix up in name and rooms.

“If you start an improvement finish it. The ceiling and dry wall was started/never finished some time ago.”

• Close to wheeling island, easy access to I-70.
• Not enough parking. Had to park across street.

“Overall if your looking for a place to sleep with a descent view its alright. Looking for that special place with the special someone, look elsewhere. Side door did not lock from outside (that's where the wasp nest was). A little expensive for what you get, that's my feelings.”

• Window seat in room with terrific view.
• The coffeemaker.

“Desk clerk was very nice and offered to tell me about attractions nearby. I upgraded to suite and did not regret the extra ten dollar charge. Nice clean room and very quiet.”

• Rooms looked nice and clean.
• Room was not clean.

“I would not recommend this hotel, I stayed there and no hot water, and not only that something dried on the blanket, you be the judge of that one.”

• Staff was great and friendly, close to wheeling island.
• Rooms needed a good wash down; cleaning staff needs to do a better job.

“I really liked the hotel its self< just needs a good washing on the inside (or painting). The elevator was little scary. Just needs a face life on the inside of Hotel & elevator. Outside looks great could have a bigger parking lot and more security lights. Bar/lounge room was very nice so was the bartender (very helpful).the bartender very.”

• The whole place!

“The pool and hot tub were filthy. There was not lid on the toilet. There was a dead bug in one of the beds. They were way out of line - price wise. It is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and if I were to give then a true rating it would be below a zero. I would not recommend that place to anyone.”

• Pool and hot tub was nice to be able to spend some fun time with family, was not crowded.
• Floor in room was dirty; room was small and in need of repair. TV was only a "15 and couldn't rent movies on it. Beds were not size described.

“This was not the worst hotel I have ever stayed at but we were defiantly disappointed. Room was too small, and beds were not size described. The TV was only a "15 and remote didn't work. Shower was stuck on one setting and in need of repair. Pool and hot tub were small and hotel lounge was closed. Basically, the entire hotel needs a face lift. And when I complained to attendant he just shrugged his shoulders, But hey, I can't say the place was too crowded.”

“Dirty, smells every floor & room of smoke, burns on counter, bedspreads & sheets, brown stains on walls, drywall tape on ceiling & window frames falling down, broken lock at pool entrance, pool broken, food left out at counters for next days use.”

• Filthy, unsafe, unclean, broken down, unscrupulous, shambles, wreck, smoky, brown stains, and burns everywhere bedding-counters, drywall tape falling off of ceiling & windows, screens falling off, litter everywhere.

• Plenty of hot water.
• The bar wasn't open, they closed the pool early, they ran out of breakfast.

“The staff was rude. We didn't want maid service due to the fact that we didn't want anyone in our room as we had some things in our room that we didn't want disturbed, so we basically were on our own, no towels, no nothing. The bar was closed, the pool closed early and they ran out of breakfast by 8:30 in the morning. The place was not very clean and overall was not a pleasant stay at all. We will never stay there again, and will not recommend it to anyone else who asks us.”
