• Loved setup of room, very spacious.
• There was nothing I didn't like about hotel.

“The hotel was very nice, we enjoyed the large rooms. The kitchen in room was very nice. The hotel is convenient to a lot of restaurants, and easy access to highways we used to travel. Would definitely love to stay back at this hotel if we are in area again.”

• Location/room size.
• Continental breakfast was poor.

“We had requested non-smoking but the room reeked of smoke and ashtrays in room. Front desk was helpful enough to switch thankfully (we have allergies). Enjoyable stay over all. Continental breakfast - bagels and coffee. Could use help.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
• The full kitchen was poorly stocked with cooking utensils, pans, dishes and the furniture needs to be updated.

“This hotel was in a convenient location. It has a nice pool area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen lacked proper pots and pans to cook, we had to go out and buy our own cooking utensil since they had none, the dishes were limited and there was no dish detergent or sponge, etc. to wash dishes. The continental breakfast consisted solely of frozen bagels and cream cheese which were not appetizing at all. We never went down for breakfast.”

• The staff were very courteous and accommodating. Felt safe.
• The room was not as clean as it should have been.

“The surrounding area provides all the conveniences i.e. shopping mall, shops, restaurant. If you need to you can work out at Bally's across the street. The public areas are clean and secure.”

• I love the location of the hotel. It had tons of shops and restaurants to choose from.
• There a man was shot in the lobby but that was no reflection on the hotel or the location. He brought trouble with HIM.

“As I said before, there was an incident at the hotel but it was not because of the location or the staff. The gentleman who was hurt went to a strip club and he was followed back to the hotel. When it all happened the Charlotte Police department went to great lengths to secure the guests at the hotel. My family and I stayed the next night. We felt very safe afterwards. I believe it was an isolated incident.”

• Separate bedroom.
• Had to clean the room myself.

“There was an incident involving someone being shot in the neck during the early morning hours. Hotel staff put a note on the elevator saying the lobby was closed and to use the side exits. No explanation given. Had to walk outside and see police everywhere. Unable to use hotel facilities for the whole day.”

• I liked the location.
• Could hear the people upstairs all night long.

“It is located in a nice spot near the mall and many eating establishments. The staff was friendly and the check in and out was fast. The only problem we had was the family upstairs you could hear walking around all night.”

• Extremely helpful and welcoming front desk staff.
• We had to switch rooms because of ants in our room. No breakfast on weekends and weekday breakfast was weak.

• Close to all the activities we attended. Good location for restaurants.
• Smoking rooms on same floor as non-smoking halls smelled like tobacco.

“Great hotel for the price. My wife and I were very pleased with our room, and the front desk personnel were very friendly. We would however, recommend extending their breakfast bar to their weekend visitors, instead of just Monday-Friday visitors. We would also recommend having all smoking rooms on the top floor.”

“Had a very nice two room suite; a kitchen/dinning are and a very roomy sleeping area. Very clean, convenient to where I needed to be for business.”

“The manager, Joyce was wonderful, personable and very accommodating as well as the rest of the staff. The location was great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming down to Charlotte, and am looking forward to staying there again.”

“Great place for business or family. Ballys health club across the street. Plenty of stores and shopping, freeway access 1 mile. Staff is super friendly.”

• Clean, comfortable, spacious, easy access to restaurants and businesses.
• Bed was a bit hard, the walls a bit thin and flushing the commode sounded like a jet talking off.

“It's not perfect but still a great value. The hotel was recently redone and everything was fresh and clean. The staff was as helpful and pleasant as any in a 4 or 5 star hotel. Restaurants, business services and shopping were convenient.”

• Damaged bedspread. Limited breakfast one day and no breakfast second day.

“The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was bagels and apples one day. The second day there was no food out when I checked at 8:00 and again at 10:00.”
