• Convenient to airport.
• Rude front desk staff, charged for complimentary breakfast, mildew smell in room.

“Complimentary breakfast had cashier charging for food, even 'USA Today' left in front of the door was billed to the room at 0.75. Business centre had two laptops in lobby, always occupied by other guests- no privacy. This was a cheap operation, they were nickel & dimming guests.”

• Location for what we needed.
• Room was very small, balcony was tiny.

“They told me I could only get a 2 queen room. Was moved to a king then another king when the first room was not acceptable. Breakfast was okay, but not worth the money. Have had better service at courtyard, but this is an older one that is not in the best area which could be the reason.”

• They had a gym.
• I requested a fridge & had difficulty getting it but finally did.

“The hotel was great, just frustrated that I called ahead of time to request a fridge but once in room found out there was not one. Person at the front desk said I had to move rooms & that was not an option for me traveling with small children. Luckily they found one and brought it to me.”

• The light fixtures in room were dusty and I have allergies which caused me to sneeze a lot during my stay.

• The beds were awesome!
• Breakfast wasn't complimentary, like other hotels of similar ratings I've stayed at.

“I found the room to be very comfortable. I did not like how complicated the remote was to use. It was difficult to get to the channels. I was disappointed with the front desk staff. They were not unfriendly, but I felt like I was interrupting their day.”

• I like the extremely helpful staff and comfortable feel of the hotel.
• I did not find the cost of the breakfast buffet to be reasonable.

“I was extremely pleased with the location and value of hotel that I got for my money. the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all aspects of our stay. I was slightly displeased with the cost of the breakfast buffet, but there were numerous restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.”

• Bed top/mattress combination excellent!
• Details missed: empty [?] $1.50 water bottles behind refrigerator; blue M&M on floor behind desk; only 1 trashcan in room.

• Friendly, warm atmosphere. Very comfortable rooms.
• The exit road from the hotel needs to be a two way street.

“I was here on a one night stay for business. The hotel met all of my expectations. I was very happy with my stay. The breakfast offered in the morning was much better than expected.”

• Nice large room.
• A stronger then usual hotel smell and the bed were very soft on one edge side.

“The hotel was clean and easy to get to off the interstate. It was close to a large shopping area and lots of eateries.”

• The moldy smelling room.

“This was an unpleasant experience. The hotel room smelled moldy and the mirror on the closet door near the bathroom was broken. After having stayed at an excellent Marriott Courtyard in Arlington, I was stunned to find the quality so much worse in Charlotte. The 20-minute wait for the desk clerk was unacceptable. I was glad we were only "passing through".”

• Everything! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and the beds were so comfortable! Checkout not till noon.

• Quite hotel, right off I-77, and well groomed.
• Restaurant/Fast Food selection in area seemed limited.

“Check-in was easy, directed us to closer door to room, not far from downtown Charlotte or the SC state line, etc.”

• Beds were great, everything was clean and neat.
• The front desk staff was rude, and the elevator got stuck with us in it for 20 minutes.

“This was a nice place with a very convenient location, a pleasant pool/hot tub setup, and spacious rooms with very comfortable beds. Two problems - when we called the front desk to get a recommendation on where to get a pizza close by, the person there said 'we can't give any recommendations' and then just hung up without another word. Not very nice. Second, our elevator got stuck between the 2nd and 3rd floor for about 20 minutes, and the emergency phone was non-functional. Luckily we had our cell phones on hand and were able to call the front desk that way. Not sure how long we'd have been in there if we hadn't had our cell phones. Due to these issues, the management gave us a free night voucher for Marriott Courtyard, which was nice of them. The things that happened are episodic things though, and would not prevent me from staying there again if I was in the area. The place was clean, and the beds were super comfortable - those are the main things.”

• Very clean comfortable rooms, convenient and safe location. Friendly service.
• Doesnt include breakfast, wish they include more toiletries.

“The location was safe, convenient, about 15 minutes from airport. The staff was friendly and ready to help at all times, beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. 100% smoke free facility (great!). I just wish they included breakfast instead of charging for it separately. Over all, great experience and will definitely stay there again.”
