• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Our room was right next to an entrance that was very loud.

“The staff at check-in and check-out were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The area was convenient to airport. Several restaurants within a few miles. The only bad thing about my stay was the noise outside my room woke me up a few times. I would stay here again, but request to be placed in a room farther from the entrance.”

• Close to I-77.
• No restaurants around hotel. Area is somewhat dangerous.

“Hotel is in a somewhat dangerous area. There are very few dining choices nearby. Bed was soft, first floor smelled of water or mold, not too strong but strong enough. WiFi was very weak.”

• It was close to the location of my husband's business meeting.
• There were safety signs everywhere remove valuables from cars and lock them.

“Hotel looked clean but felt unsanitary. Remodel job was weird. Parking lot had signs posted everywhere to remove your valuables and lock your doors. Police officers patrolled the parking lot until 3 a.m. We always stay at hotels in that area - even directly across the street, but I felt uneasy and unsafe at this hotel. Also the closet door handle broke and it just felt old.”

• The cleanliness was great and the staff was friendly and the location was great.
• Nothing I was very satisfied.

“The hotel was very clean and had a great view of the courtyard. The staff was friendly and helpful and the beds were very comfortable. I felt like a new person when I woke the next morning.”

• Mattress was nice.
• Rude staff, smelly, flooded bathroom.

“The staff was very rude! Man at the front desk didn't even consider my request, didn't bother to look and see if they had my request available. The room smelled really bad and the shower leaked and flooded the bathroom.”

• The bed linens were excellent!
• We were in a handicap room. The handicap shower head was terrible.

“The hotel was much better. The bed linens were high thread count and the pillows were down along with the down comforter. It was a great night’s sleep. The sun came up through our balcony door, but the curtains kept the light out. The iron was on the cheap side, but it got the job done. The coffee in the room was ok, but the lobby coffee rocked. I will definitely sleep in another Courtyard by Marriott.

“Do not bother with this hotel If you are in Charlotte, try the courtyard on university. It is newer, much cleaner, and easier to navigate through city traffic from there.”

• I loved the courtyard.
• Location of ice machine- first floor.

“Stayed two nights. Great hotel. Staff was very accommodating. My son was asking about a pool, and the clerk put us right next to it! The kids had a blast. Facility was very clean. Very nice.”

• How clean it was and comfortable. Great business center.
• Good food wasn't close by.

• Great location convenient to 2 interstates and the airport.
• No restaurant or bar facilities. Needs some updating.

“It's one of the older Courtyard properties. Well maintained but could use some updating. It's a totally non-smoking property, which I liked. The staff was efficient and helpful, but not especially friendly.”

• The pool and spa area were wonderful.
• We had to ask more than once for a crib.

“Our overall experience with this hotel was wonderful. We did have to ask several times to have a crib brought up to the room. Check out was a breeze. The pool was delightful, my daughter and I had it completely to ourselves.”

• Room was very spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable!
• The pool area could use some work as well as the balconies.

“I stayed in this hotel with my husband in the middle of a move from apartments. The hotel room was very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and I really enjoyed our nights stay. A few drawbacks: The courtyard itself could use some work. Also at the pool, peoples balconies are overlooking the pool which did not make the swim very private. Also there is not much around to get delivered to the room. Not pet friendly. Non-smoking hotel.”

• Ground floor rooms had sliding doors to balcony.
• Staff was the most unhelpful I have ever encountered.

“We have always had great success. This hotel was the one exception. When we check in they are adamant about giving us a room with double beds. They did not provide us a king. We said we understood however the hotel was empty and we would be willing pay additional if necessary. They would not accommodate us at all. We ended up having to call the main Marriott number and speak to someone there. She was able to go in and change the room. When we went back to the front desk to get a new key, the manager finally showed up and rudely asked why we needed to call customer service in order to get our room changed! We were very disappointed with the management of customer service at this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone!”
