• Excellent rooms helpful staff. Great continental breakfast!
• Location a bit far from some attractions.

• The room was amazing.
• The coffee maker was a bit cheap.

“Very nice room. I believe that the star rating was set too low. Free WiFi, desk area, mini fridge, living room area with a large couch, king size bed, 42" plasma TV, and a very nice restroom.”

• This hotel was immaculate! It was very clean, had a flat panel television and Wi-Fi. There were restaurants on site and walking areas outside!
• My stay ended way to soon!

“Hyatt Place is a very nice hotel that caters to it's visitors. It is very clean, flat panel television, desk for reading or studying and Wi-Fi. It also had a sofa pull out bed and the bathrooms were really clean! There was a nice view from the room and the staff was extremely nice and attentive! Great place to stay!”

• The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Loved the big screen TV and the sofa.
• No restaurants very close by.

“This hotel offers three star rooms that are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Close proximity to local dining and shopping is the only weakness I experienced. It is an airport location and is very handy to area businesses. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Charlotte that places a priority on room amenities and quality.”

“The hotel was fine after we waited 3 hours to get a room! The staff was courteous after the booking situation was resolved. It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had.”

• It's confidently located. The hotel has a very nice modern style and decor about it. The hotel has free breakfast.
• The hotel was under construction or renovation and free breakfast wasn't offered because of it.

“Overall, my hotel stay was great. I would stay there again.”

• The room was very eclectic.
• The hotel was under renovation.

“I could not rate the lobby or public areas, as they and some of the floors are currently torn apart by construction/renovation. Our room was nice, and it was one of the newly renovated ones. However, there is only one light in the bathroom, and the switch controls it and a very loud fan overhead. I would be nice if there was one switch for the light and one for the fan. I also noticed what looked like a bleach stain in the tub that seemed to run down the drain, as if something had been poured into the tub and washed down.”

“Nice hotel. I am sure it will be even better once construction is completed and it is converted to a Hyatt place. I was really disappointed when my husband and I were charged twice.”

• Clean room, nice facilities.
• There were 3 car break-ins the day we reached there.

“The hotel was going through major renovation and there were 3 car break ins within an hour before we reached there. We took out everything that we had in the car and hauled all the stuff to our room even though we were staying over for just the night. The manager was courteous enough to let us have a room directly facing the parking spaces and let me park in one of the handicapped parking spots which was properly lit. We could not sleep very well as we kept on checking our car all though the night.”

• Horrible bedding (linens, pillows, mattress).

“Great location near airport, downtown and business centers. Spacious rooms. Horrible bedding of "motel" quality. King size bed was shorter than normal. I'm 6 2 and my feet were hanging off the end by 6 inches. Mattress springs in my back. Pillows were the thickness of dish rags. If you like sleeping comfortably, avoid this hotel and stay at the doubletree next door.”

• It was clean and comfortable.
• They overbooked and we were not able to stay at the hotel the first night.

“They overbooked, and sent us to another hotel (lesser quality). We stayed here the next night, without issue, but the practice of overbooking is unacceptable. That aside, they did locate a new room for us and when we returned to the hotel the next night they were friendly and courteous.”

• I liked the size of the room, the layout, and the staff.
• I prefer the sink be in the bathroom. More water pressure would have been nice.
