• Recently remodeled. Very clean. Rooms were not your run-of-the-mill type. Excellent breakfast.

• It was very well decorated & very modern. Very clean, & we loved the 42' TV.
• We didn't have a yellow pages in our room.

“This hotel was awesome & very comfortable. The bed was also comfortable. I did not wake up with a back ache & that's rare for me. I liked the location. It was nice and quiet. I was not ready to go when it was time to check out. Keep up the good work!”

• The room was a great room.
• It was not cleaned - very dirty.

“Hyatt place is a great hotel, but my room was dirty, with opened drink cans in the frig and no towels or soap/shampoo. The only soap they had was half used. I also had to weight at the front desk while the front desk clerk chatted with a friend and was in no rush to help me in a semi-fast fast rate of speed.”

• The staff seemed pleasant enough.
• The renovation at this hotel made our stay unpleasant.

“However, the renovations, the traffic and airplane noise were not pleasing. The television in our room would not work and there was no solution as the staff told us there were no where else to move us. They also told us they knew there was a problem with the TV. When we called. They did not tell us this on check in. The rooms are old and run down. I'm sure they will be nice when the renovation is complete for the Hyatt Place that is going to become, but not now! I will hope for better situations in the future and will give it another chance.”

• The staff was great! Pool was fun; Comfortable room.
• We had kids with celiac disease. Breakfast options were very limited for them.

“The staff was very interactive with our kids. This makes such a big difference for us. It is such a negative when hotel staff ignores or are discourteous to our children. The lady that checked us in, joked around with our kids and made them feel welcome. This continued each time we went through the lobby. The pool and pool area was clean and very well kept and the water felt great! Overall positive experience.”

• The lobby was the only nice thing about this hotel.
• The rooms are very dated and they look and feel old.

“We had to move 3 times to get a room that did not have intolerable odors. Smelled very dirty in the rooms and the air conditioners were dirty and appeared moldy. Would not stay there again.”

• Spacious, comfortable and functional room for a business traveler.
• Weak coffee. No complaints with staff, just a bit dull.

“The hotel is not in an interesting location (a few chain restaurants nearby), however it is close to the I-77 and convenient to get to most locations with Charlotte. The hotel is a typical Amerisuites hotel. Large, comfortable and functional rooms for a business traveler. The only downside to the rooms are that they could be brighter (lighting, furnishings, etc.) breakfast ok, but not enough seating. The grapefruit sections were a nice touch. The coffee is too weak!”

• Convenient location from highway.
• Older bed, lower quality bedding and linens. Bathroom door broken, unable to open door from inside bathroom.

“Ok room, lower quality on bedding and bed. Bathroom door broken so unable to open from inside. Took 25 minutes to "jimmy" door open. Maintenance came up later, but not much concern from front desk staff.”

• Overall size and quality of the room. Good location. Quality facility.
• Breakfast not up to standard. Mixed quality of hotel staff.

“The coffee was consistently weak and tasteless and the breakfast was just not that good. The fresh fruit was not so fresh, the cottage cheese was not fresh and the already not so good microwave eggs and sausage were never quite right. While better than most, the front desk was un-even. However, maybe the nicest and best housekeeping staff ever.”

• Upon arrival and all through our stay, the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.
• The room seemed somewhat dark and there were mold stains on the bathroom ceiling.

“The suites are nice and roomy. I like having the extra room and microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was good, but the hot food didn't stay hot very well. Also, the breakfast sitting area seemed cramped with the amount of people that were there. I want to let them know what they can approve on, but overall, our stay was great! Thank you!”
