“I was not that happy with this hotel. First of all our room was not ready at 5.30 and we needed a change and be somewhere by 6.00. Then they hold $50.00 a day which is not necessary. We were told they would call when the room was ready but that didn't happen. There is a charge for the internet and I had never had that before. The people in the lobby were not friendly or didn't seem to care. The air didn't work and someone had to come up and fix it. I could go on and on but my husband travels all the time in that area and has meetings with his men and I told him not to stay there. I had just stayed at a Drury Inn a few days before and this hotel could learn a lot from them on how to give great service. I will not stay here anymore and I will tell anyone I know that is going that way not to stay. I know I am just one person and you could care less.”

“This was the best hotel I have stayed in in a long time. There was a conference going on and you only saw them in the restaurant. The hallways were quiet and the pool was heated. I like the separate bedroom and living space.”

“This is my second stay at The Rennaissance Hotel. I stay at Marriott properties a lot. This is the first time I was denied a late check out and told I have to be a Gold Member Marriott account holder.”

The check-in personnel were very unprofessional when we arrived. The lobby was empty and two of the three check-in personnel decided to fight to see who would check me in. One woman hit the other on the arm and then the one who was hit started asking me to fill out a complaint form (in jest) - finally a third woman checked me in professionally. It didn't make me feel like I was checking into an upscale facility.

“ This hotel is very clean and neat, staff was very well put together and helpful when it was needed. Only downfall was you have to pay for wireless internet if you want to use it in your room. They do have a business center where you can use it for free, however in such a nice hotel wireless is usually included in the cost of the room. ”

“Extremely spacious, clean and enjoyable room. The living room and bedroom are separated by a door, so it's easy to close off the space if someone is sleeping and the other wants to watch TV.”

“My husband and I went to a Carolina Panther's game and needed a place to stay overnight. I decided to try using Priceline to book our hotel. I am really glad we did. Our hotel was wonderful. We were greeted by very friendly staff members. The check in was very quick. We entered our room and were pleasantly surprised. It was so clean, spacious and the bed was very comfy. We did not dine at the restaurant so I am unable to comment on that, but the appearance of the hotel inside and out was great!”

“Nice hotel, very clean - rooms were large. Beds were OK (clean but not super comfortable). Only complaint was climate control - it was very warm in our room, no matter how low we had the unit - called front desk, they said it was fixed, but it wasn't - ended up sleeping with window open.”

“Beds were comfortable, room spotless, even had a sitting room attached. Had a fridge and microwave, beautifully tiled bathroom. The staff was friendly and very helpful.”
