• The continental breakfast was nice.
• It was hot. It felt like the heat was turned on in the hallways and it took forever for our room to get cool.

“The first room we were given had had people smoking in it so it was necessary to get a second room. The lack of ac in South Carolina was terrible.”

• Not a thing. It was very smelly and dirty.
• I tried to get a wake up call and the front desk never answered the phone.

“This hotel is bottom line. We were there with 2 children and I was worried about there safety and overall health after sleeping in the beds and the smells in all areas of the hotel were very disgusting. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• The staff was friendly and helpful.
• My TV was not clear.

“Everything was fine with my stay. I had a clean room and clean bed. I wasn't looking for much more than that. The breakfast was what I expected, good. Free coffee all day was nice. Again, the staff was friendly and helpful.”

• Cheap price.
• The wall had black mold under the AC.

“I wouldn't stay at it again even for the cheap price. The room just wasn't up to par, the carpet was dirty, mold on the wall, and it seemed to be infested with spiders.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• My car was broken into in their parking lot.

“The room was clean, and the staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Knowledgeable about area and willing to give directions. But my car was broken into in their back parking lot where I was directed to park by the manager. Another vehicle as well. They didn't even apologize for this. I felt unsafe the last night I was there and wasn't sure how I would find my car in the morning. To be fair, I should say that at this time I found out there are cameras in the front parking lot but not in the back.”

• Accessible location, but there are plenty of others similarly located.
• Rude staff, pre-occupied and did not want to be bothered by customers.

“I did not have a good experience at this location. The staff was incredibly rude. The maintenance was lacking, leaving a feeling that the place is rundown. Halfway through my stay, I relocated to a neighboring hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Very nice and helpful people.
• They needed a place for people to set outside.

“The days we were there it was in the high 85 to 90 they didn't have the pool open, so my grills went to another comfort inn in the area and they had their pool open. The other comfort inn was gracious enough to let my daughters swim there.”

• Staff was wonderful, helpful and with a positive attitude.
• Located right next to railroad tracks.

“Hotel is located within easy reach of downtown Columbia and fort Jackson. Access to i-77 and i-20 is easy. The staff was excellent. Helpful and friendly, they were a refreshing change from hotels I have stayed at in the past. I highly recommend this hotel for those with economy in mind!”

• Internet was main reason for hotel booking but it was not functional.

“The hotel was decent but the main reason was to web cam with my wife prior to being deployed overseas. ”

• Very helpful and courteous staff.
• A limited continental breakfast menu.

“The first impression was a clean smell, from the halls to the room. Very pleased with Non-Smoking room (entire 2nd floor). The motel could use some updating (wall paper, paint, etc.). A little disappointed with continental breakfast, but good coffee. Overall, a good stay for the price.”

• Pool was very small.

“Hotel let us switch reservation dates and gave good directions for our travel destination. Waffles were very good. Staff was very accommodating when we needed emergency documents faxed to the hotel.”

• Kept breakfast bar stocked well.
• Had to pay extra when we got there, treated extremely bad.

“Clerk accepted money for extra people then totally ignored our group. Very disappointed. I should be 100% refunded for the worst lodging I've ever experienced. It's too bad this terrible memory has to be included in a trip to pick up my son from ARMY boot camp. The thanks he gets for defending a country that includes people like the ones that work at this hotel.”

• The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly
• The location was in a parking lot. Thought my car might get broken into.

“I liked the hotel and staff. The room was clean. I disliked the location due to the isolation and the railroad tracks right next to the hotel.”

“If not for the big sign we would never have found it. It's on a road in major need of repair and you have no clue if it's the right road. Parking is limited. A beautiful hotel inside, continental breakfast was nicely presented.”
