• Next to train track, bad bed, mold in shower, unclean carpet bad food bad cleaning staff.

“It has great potential the cleaning staff are just not trained for there job.”

• We left a day early, there was nothing good about it!
• Let's see, just after leaving the lobby with my 17 month old son, the lobby was robbed at gun point!

“This hotel is awful. We had to leave a day early because of mold/mildew that caused my son to have such a severe allergic reaction that he could not breathe. We almost had to find an emergency room on the way back home, luckily the nurse at his Peds office was able to tell us what to do to make it home. We had to go and get him on antibiotics and other medication as soon as we got home. He is still suffering and we have been home for 4 days. The rooms smelled of dirty old shoes, the paint was peeling off the walls/ceiling of the bathroom, dirty bathroom and when we told someone about this they laughed. We had to ask for room service on 4 separate occasions, and then I just gave up and went to the front desk for clean towels, and was told that house keeping was behind. Dirty laundry lined the halls and trash. The beds were old and stained and the bathrooms so gross I would not give my son a bath in the tub. Oh yes and I almost forgot that the hotel was robbed the second day we were there, I had just left the lobby and sent my husband back down for juice and he saw the police and asked what was up. This was one crappy vacation for us.”

• The location. There were restaurants and shopping close to us plus we could get to fort Jackson quick.
• They ran out of laundry detergent.

“The rooms were great; the place was clean, staff friendly. Good breakfast. Nice place to stay.”

• Our room had just been completely redecorated.
• Nothing bad at all, very decent place to stay.

• The staff were courteous and professional. Their service compensated for the dirty and outdated rooms.
• The rooms were horrible and outdated a VCR was on the TV, hair was all over the bathroom, needs to be updated.

• For the most part the people were friendly and helpful.
• Sleeping at the front desk.

“I was not impressed with the hotel decor. It looks like it was renovated to resemble what was promised on the web. Pictures on the web did not match what I found. The rooms were small, there was food on the floor by the bed. The bed sheets were not pulled tight like someone had physically wrinkled them. They did have good security, washroom available, the gym was lacking equipment and the pool was the size of a Jacuzzi. There was no Jacuzzi. I would have switched hotels but since I could not get a refund, I was a prisoner there. Also, the wireless internet did not work on the 6th floor where I was so I had to do some work in the lobby where I could get wireless internet. This was one of the major reasons I chose this hotel. The elevators were in bad shape, scary. ”

• Staff was friendly.
• Room 206 smelled like it had been smoked in.

“I was not happy with the fact I was put in handicapped rooms, and was not told by the front desk. ”

• The location was convenient to local highways.
• This hotel was dated, dirty and much too expensive for the amenities.

“I am a frequent traveler and usually stay at the other local hotels. I would like to increase the caliber of my stays and was very disappointed with the quality of this location considering that I spent significantly more money. This hotel was in very poor condition and offers nothing over the Microtel and Red Roof Inn across the street.”

• Location and free parking.
• The bed was an older style bed that was like sleeping on cardboard.

“This is a good hotel. Conveniently located and is fine for business travel. They have a good breakfast and friendly staff.”

• The separate rooms within the suite.
• The safety latches on the door to the suite needed attention.

“We arrived fairly late in the evening, so we didn't spend a whole lot of time in the hotel. When I made the reservation, I asked for a smoking room w/ a king bed. However, when I got to the room, it was non-smoking and only had a double bed. My wife called down to the front desk, explained the situation, and they were able to put us in a room in which we asked for.”

• Wireless Internet in the room.
• Poor quality mattress.

“This hotel was not worth the money. It is more the scale of a $29 room. The room was small, we couldn't get a double bed, my son had to sleep on the pull out sofa. No hot tub or indoor pool. It would be fine for a lower price but for what we paid it should have been much better. The staff was very nice though, and it was clean.”

• Old, dirty, small room, TERRIBLE bed, seedy neighborhood.

“The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Otherwise, we were very disappointed. This hotel needs some work. We noticed that some rooms were getting new beds as we were leaving. That would help a lot. Our bed was miserable.”

• Located near major highways and good restaurants close by.
• Did not give receipt even when requested.

“Nice buffet breakfast complimentary. Pleasant staff and quiet. Should have better internet facilities and plug ins.”

• Convenient to where I wanted to be.
• The mattress was not comfortable. Toilet flush valves were installed wrong.

“The mattress was low at the middle and caused both my wife and I to wakeup with back pains form feeling like we were sleeping in a hole. The room was nice enough, but the mattress and cleanliness are what makes me come back to the same place. I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Express's and Comfort Inns that were much nicer. It was somewhat of an average room.”
