• Beach.
• Beds were terrible and dirty.

“Room smelled strong of carpet/room spray, had to open windows/door to air out for hours. Tub dirty with hairs in it, kitchen floor was not swept. The beds were a nightmare to sleep. Mattress broke down, springs made impossible to sleep on. Bed sheets very itchy from washing detergent. Front lobby smelled of cigarette smoke from employees.”

“For the price, this beach front hotel had a great location. The beds were comfortable and the pool was nice. The free wireless internet was an added convenience. Unfortunately, the rooms were filthy and poorly maintained. There was literally food trash under the bed which we found while searching for the TV remote. We never did find the remote. After calling the front desk we were told to come down and get a replacement (that didn't work either).”

• Right on the ocean.
• Did not have an individual balcony so we could leave curtains open to see ocean.

“The grounds were very dirty. Our room was dusty. The beds and bathroom were clean though. The area for making coffee was very inconvenient. You had to unplug the refrigerator and use that plug for coffee. The room for the continental breakfast was very small. Not enough room for number of people. But, staff was very friendly which made up for a lot.”

“Not a star rated hotel at all. Very disappointed in the rooms appearance, how anyone could rate this even a two star hotel, we paid too much for what we got, in the off season.”

• The beds.

“The cleaning people had put down carpet powder and did not vacuum it up. The carpets were filthy. The beds are extremely small and well worn to say the least. The pool was also filthy. The tiles around the edge were black and there were cigarette butts all around.”

• It was very clean.
• The staff seemed annoyed by guests.

“Very clean and great location. Amusing that they won't allow you to make your own breakfast. They have a staff member that guards the waffle maker. Not an attitude of service more like a guard.”

“Love the lady at waffle iron, really sweet. Your whole staff was wonderful and the view, breathtaking, even though it rained. Thanks I will be back!”

• Not very clean, beds and pillows extremely uncomfortable.

“It was ok. The staff is nice and the location is good. Our coffee maker had old coffee with mildew in it (gross). The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable I couldn't sleep. I'm glad we were only there for one night.”

• Quiet and next to the beach.
• Side view not attractive, can¿t hear ocean from room.

“Okay for a brief stay. The beds are uncomfortable, so more than one night is not recommended. Location is great, but ocean view doesn¿t mean you can actually hear the ocean. The breakfast lobby is way too small. Plus, the price is high for what you get.”

• Hotel was on the beach.
• Room was okay. The bathroom was extremely small and not very clean. The hotel is older and needs renovating.

“I would not recommend this hotel. For the amount of money we spent, we should have had a much nicer room.”

• The beach access from pool area.
• The front dust clerk was rude and curt.

“Extremely clean, ocean view and access were pleasant. Clerk and staff are not friendly. Would not recommend to families.”

“We had a good time here. we wanted a room on the beach that didn't cost a lot and that's what we got. nothing fancy, but it was clean.”

• Quiet end of Dayton Beach, beach never over crowded.
• Not enough parking, elevator too small and hot.

“Rooms nice, large, clean. My room was direct ocean view which was nice. Ladies at check out were so polite. Beach was never over crowded and this hotel is on the quieter end of Daytona Beach. If you want to get away just to lay on the beach, for the price, beach, and for peace and quiet this is a nice hotel. The only things I didn't care for was not enough parking. The elevator was small and very hot inside. If you wanted the free breakfast they offered from 7 am - 10 am don't walk in at 10:01 am because you will be told you aren't getting food.”

• Desk clerk not the most friendly.

“We rode our motorcycle down for bike week. Great place to stay during bike week due to being a couple of miles north of the heart of Daytona Beach so it was a little quieter. Would like to stay there again for a longer period of time.”
