  • Very nice, good location, friendly staff.
  • Other guests woke us up each night of our stay by being very loud in the hall.

“Hotel was great....Savannah is a party city and other guests were not very thoughtful at 1:30 am, 2:30 am, etc. Hotel staff was responsive, but there were just too many discourteous, loud guests for them to keep up with!”

  • Free internet, and very helpful concierge.
  • Parking fee was very high.

“ Conveniently located. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was nicely decorated. Old historic hotel, so the rooms were not enormous, however, it was lovely. Nice view and safe neighborhood. We walked to the river on several occasions and never encountered any problems. ”

  • I loved the look of the lobby, the comfort of the beds and the flat screen TV.
  • The bathroom needs to be renovated and is too small. Microwave and refrigerator should be standard.

“This is a pretty decent hotel in the historic district. The building is old but that is fitting for the area.”

  • Amazing view of the Historic district.
  • The valet parking.

“Great place. The location is fantastic for sight seeing. There are several great restaurants very close. We plan to go back soon.”

  • Bed was comfortable, room was quiet.
  • About 50% of the staff was not helpful (at the Hilton!).

“I do not recommend this hotel. Clerk at front desk gave us wrong directions twice. Valet and bellman ignored us. Doesn't have any food vending machines and gift shop closes early, so it's room service until 11 PM, and nothing at all after that.”

  • Good location, great room.
  • $17 a day for parking is a bit much.

“Stayed for New Year's eve. It was centrally located, so we were able to walk to river, enjoy the downtown, and walk back with no issues. Only concern was there was only one chair in the room. We asked for a 2nd one as we were there for two days, but they never brought one up.”

  • Good location and
    beautiful lobby.
  • Had to pay for parking and breakfast, pillows too soft, interrupted by cleaning staff.

“We were disappointed that we had to pay for parking, $13 per night for self-park or $17 for valet. No complimentary breakfast, although there were several options on the main floor to buy breakfast. We didn't have a Do Not Disturb sign in our room, and the cleaning staff came at 9:30 am both mornings. The first morning we told her we were sleeping and she never came back to clean the room later. The second morning she kept interrupting us while we were packing and getting ready to leave. The key cards locked us out early before we checked out. Overall a decent hotel, but a few negative experiences added up.”

  • Nice hotel in downtown Savannah, charming location.
  • Room was not clean. Dirty towels, bathroom dirty, floor not sweep, etc.

“We arrived late and we just got a room that was not cleaned and we were to tired to complain. I would stay a the hotel again, but I would inspect the room before accepting it. It is a nice hotel and a very charming area.”

  • Very spacious rooms and easy in and out access for cars.
  • A little walk to River Street and Historic district. Nice walk if the weather is good.

“I was really happy with the room and the hotel. Usually stay closer to River street and didn't realize this hotel was in the same bidding category but was very pleasantly surprised when we checked in to a large beautiful room.”

  • Accomodation, staff, location cleanliness, comfort.
  • Can't do this!

“Excellent value. Great location - convenient for walking the city. Well-appointed room with very comfortable "Tempurpedic" bed - fine amenities. Accommodating and pleasant staff members. Good workout facility. Street parking possible. Restaurant appeared great, but we did not partake.”

“We would go back again. Key did not work at first which caused a long delay in getting in to our room. They made up for it with 2 free breakfast tickets.”

  • The location was fine.
  • Only a shower and broken toilet.

“Location was fine. However I was not warned I would only have a shower in the restroom. Had I known I would have never stayed there. I had to call maintenance 3 times to fix the same problem on the toilet. Shower fell apart first time I had to use it. I am very dissatisfied.”

  • Business center overcharge for computer use.

“Bath could use updating - very poor shower. Sliding door was in poor repair. Hilton needs to spend money on this location, rooms were run down in appearance. Everything had a charge associated.”

  • The lobby was beautiful, and the location was good.
  • Room not vacuumed and bathtub not cleaned well. Bedding not changed.

“Hotel was nice and staff was accommodating. Room was a disappointment. Mattress pad had a stain, room not vacuumed, once during the 5 days.”

  • The bell hop was excellent. He handled everything when we checked out. Made it back to conference on time.

“The hotel was very well kept and the employees were very helpful. It was a wonderful experience. When I call for a wake up call, they spoke to me by name. The little extra touches mean a lot when you are away from home.”
