• Lobby computer/printer worked okay.
• Honesty is questionable.

“Hotel increases room rates without any notice to customer! I stayed 3 nights: At checkout time, I discovered the last two nights I was charged! I was never notified about increase concerning. I was blamed for not checking the rates with them daily as excuse for excessive room charges 2nd night, I suffered 2 large spider bites on me while sleeping in room. I informed house keeping and front desk. I was told I imported the spiders from else where. Yet I could clearly see spider webs on walls and ceilings above bed and windows. Maid said. Not their problem. Also, the room WiFi and internet didn't work at all. I too, was blamed for not complaining about it earlier. Very bad customer service and $ losses. Hotel swindle! The deluxe continental breakfast; I rate as just fair. It is the same as anywhere else, self service (Microwave frozen danish items, cold cereal, etc.). Also, breakfast room had only 5 tables with 4 chairs. It was little room to sit and enjoy breakfast. Hotel was full and had to return to room to eat breakfast there. Hotel value until they fix the many dishonest hotel and staff problems. So much Savannah Comfort Suites hospitality. I will never stay at this hotel again. Travelers beware!”

• Got Swindled.

“Hotel increases room rates without any notice to customers. The WiFi or Ethernet didn't work at all in the rooms. I will never stay at this hotel again.”

• The room was nice with the high ceilings. The beds were very comfortable!
• The pool and weight room size; very small!

“The hotel was nice overall, but I did not like that pool went from 3-4ft, the weight room had one elliptical, one bike, and one treadmill. It's located on Bay Street, but not across from River Street. Didn't know and didn't like that.”

• Friendly staff & clean rooms.
• Exercise area and pool were closed for repair.

“Hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The location was further from the Historic District, was a very long walk. I would recommend to others and stay there again.”

• Liked the big beds, which seemed new and very comfortable.
• View of derelict building lot next door.

“Overall good experience at hotel. Room was big with 2 large new beds, which were very comfortable. Lobby of hotel was very attractive and the breakfast was good ( especially the waffles you are allowed to make ).”

• The doors locked.
• Only one, very slow elevator for the whole property.

“Tied. The employees were indifferent and slow. The breakfast bar was poorly run and stocked. The pool was only slightly larger than a bathtub and when our toilet clogged up the front desk told us to come down for a plunger. Please feel free to share these comments with comfort suites. We used to be fans but no longer.”

• This hotel is not in the historic district it is located in a very unsafe area a 15 min walk from district in combat zone.
• See #13--unsafe, bad neighborhood, hotel misrepresents location on web sites and in Savannah tourist guide.

“We did not check in we only were in lobby. I canceled the reservations immediately upon arrival due to unsafe location--several blocks from historic district and across from municipal housing project where residents had iron bars on windows and shady characters were roaming about--truly looked like combat zone--hotel misrepresented location in travel web site, on phone and in Savannah tourist guide--said it was in the historic district and it was not.”
