• I love free parking and free internet, and it was close to historic downtown.
• I wish they had wireless internet available in the rooms.

• Total professionalism from the very first phone call to the last request.
• Sign out front needs to be higher; TV remote and programming was not user friendly.

“I am a parent traveling to Savannah related to my daughter's college, SCAD. I've stayed at least 4 other hotels; this is the best. It's off the road so it's away from traffic. The staff is well trained and supervised. They are professional and friendly. I loved the pool and hot tub. Take out menus were available from the restaurant next door, and delivered hot and tasty for a moderate price. I would look for this Courtyard again on my next trip. I think Mercer may be the most professional manager I've met at a hotel.”

• Should have a free breakfast buffet and allow pets.

“Good hotel but about 15 miles away from I-95 and for the price should have a free breakfast. There are a lot of local restaurants nearby.”

• It was clean, quite, staff was friendly, good location, near shopping.
• No free or complimentary breakfast, not even a bagel. Too have to pay was absolutely ridiculous!

“Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. However, once again there was no free or complimentary breakfast. I have stayed at cheep hotels, and you at least get some juice, coffee, bagels, and donuts. I was not pleased to find out the first morning that I was there, that if I wanted to eat I had to pay $9.95 or leave the hotel to get breakfast. Probably will not stay here again.”

• Long wait for towels to be restocked at pool/whirlpool.

“Towels were not stocked in pool area. Several guests had called in requests for towels. One of the overhead lights in the whirlpool room kept blinking on and off. The hotel room itself was clean and had a nice layout (we had a king bed and sofa bed). The water pressure in the shower was strong. Would stay there again.”

• Front desk clerks were very unfriendly.

“Typical Garden by Marriott. Rooms are unremarkable but very clean. Bedding is very nice, breakfast is way too expensive, should be included with the room.”

• The location was great and the rooms were very clean.
• The cost for breakfast, most hotels do not charge or they at least have a complimentary breakfast.

“I enjoyed the stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel was close to historic downtown, shopping, and several other area attractions. I would definitely recommend it to others and stay there again.”

• Nothing.

“The front desk clerks were top notch, the hotel it's self was extremely clean and the rooms were very spacious. I would go back there in a Heartbeat. The staff is very knowable about Savannah and will go above & beyond to please you. You miss them when you leave the hotel. Best place I have stayed at.”

• When there were not enough towels in the room, they made sure that we received what was requested. We actually received more towels than requested.
• I saw two or three roaches in my room at different times.

“My stay was short but nice. The room was well decorated. When I sent a request for more towels, they staff exceeded my request. The bed slept well. I would stay again.”

“The hotel was just what we needed for a quick weekend trip to Savannah. Nothing fancy, but a decent place to stay. This hotel is on the same level as some other 2.5 moderate hotels and even priced a little higher but does not offer the free continental breakfast.”
