• The staff was friendly and nice.

“When we got there and received our room keys the room was under construction, the attendant had no clue as to what was going on, we had been driving for 12 hours and were tired and was not happy at this time. I would probably look elsewhere for a hotel before staying there again.”

• Internet connection didn't function that great.

“This hotel was ok for 1 night cheap travel. Nothing stands out, it was functional and cheap, close to shopping and restaurants and highway. Good choice for sleepover if continuing driving next day.”

• The only thing about this hotel that I like was the appearance of the lobby from the outside.
• I did not like the overall quality of the room. The bed was poor, the AC was sub par, bathroom was subpar, and the odor was fowl.

“This room does not deserve the star quality that it has been given. It is a one star economy hotel. Poor bed comfort, old room smell, and poor AC makes this hotel one that I would never visit again, nor will I recommend it to anyone.”

• Convenient.
• When we checked out, my partner cut his foot on the doorway, they did not offer even a band-aid, much less any type of compensation for the experience.

“Was pleased with the hotel overall, when we checked out my partner cut his foot on the doorway, they did not even offer a band aid much less any type condolence, we drove around 30 minutes looking for supplies to doctor his foot, this left a sour note for me.”

• Location and continental breakfast good.
• Very old looking very basic.

“The complex looked old, the stairs to our room were dirty and poorly constructed. The room was very basic with the addition of a mini-fridge and microwave, one on top of the other. Small TV.”

• Non-smoking room was as stated, no heavy perfume.
• Was not in area close to Historic District as I thought.

“Room was clean and on lower floor as requested. Continental breakfast was as stated. Hotel area and parking lot were very clean.”

• The dining area and the manner in which you could prepare your breakfast.
• Appearance of the room was not eye catching. It was a turn off.

“The location of the hotel was ok, but there were bugs in the room and the room smelled. We had to go buy room freshener. Stores were close and eating places. I requested for joining rooms because of the young children I had with me. We had to walk outside staying dressed in order to go from one room to the other. I did not know this was a 1 star hotel. My sister-in-law stayed at the La Quinta which was nice and she paid less than we paid. It was about a block or two away from Best Western where we stayed. I was not pleased with my stay.”

“This hotel was nice for me and my friends, the rooms were clean and fresh and good for the price, and the pool and breakfast were great. All the workers there were so kind.”

• Swimming pool, breakfast, decent.
• Air conditioning, hard beds.

“My children enjoyed the pool and the breakfast wasn't too diverse but it was good enough to get through the morning plus there is a waffle house right by the hotel. The air conditioning didn't really circulate too well throughout the room and the beds were not too comfortable.”

• The room was clean. The lobby was well organized and appealed to us aesthetically. The staff was friendly and helpful.
• The room was in some need of some updating. There is a swing set there that needs to be either modified for safety reasons or taken down.

“The best western in savannah met our needs and expectations. We simply needed a clean place to lay our heads as we traveled and was sight seeing. It was accommodating and practical for us. Thanks!”

• Leak in wall plumbing, shower dripped all night.

“The hotel was not worth what we paid. It was a rip off! The woman that ran the continental breakfast was grouchy and sometimes nasty to the guests. We never had enough towels.”

• Reasonable location. Clean and functional.
• We booked two rooms and one had a fridge and microwave and the other did not.

“Expensive for what it offered. Also I will not be using again as I have requested a repayment to my account due to charging twice for the one nights stay and after three emails and one phone call which was cut off I have not had one response in return.”

• Rooms were clean and carpet was newer and clean. Breakfast was good.
• The fact that 3-4 times my card would not access the door lock and had to go to lobby to reactivate.

“Nice hotel. Extended breakfast was not extended but basic cont. But was a good variety and good. The hotel is in a great location in savannah. Close to downtown area but in a quieter area. Nice location adj. To shopping mall and strips as well. Very quiet even as full as it was at the time. the clerks at desk did not seem to understand why I was asking to have key reactivated ( had to go down to lobby 3-4 times due to being locked out) everything was fine.”

• Location, condition, staff, amenities, noise.

“This hotel is eleven miles off the interstate, overpriced, and underwhelming. The shower dribbled so slowly that I opted for a sponge bath in order to get clean. The sink plug was broken and the entire hotel reeked of disinfectant. The area is unsavory, and the hotel sits in the flight path of a military airbase, without the benefit of soundproofing.”
