• Cleanliness & gym.
• No microwave or micro-refrigerator in the room.

“It was a clean, nice room. The ductwork in the bathroom leads directly to the lounge area and allows a lot of noise into the rooms. There was very loud music each night (perhaps due to a wedding), however, I didn't want to hear it at 4:00 am - which I did. Our son was in another room and he called security the night before due to the noise/music/talking. The hotel is in a good location and the desk staff is very skilled and the response to the complaints was handled in a timely fashion. The rooms are clean but when we returned to the room by noon our room was not made-up. The maid came to our room after a phone call to the front desk and asked if we wanted clean towels but she didn't want to clean the room. If you're not expecting much, this hotel is in a good location and clean and safe, but not top of our list.”

• I like that the hotel had a bar and restaurant down stairs. I don't have to leave the hotel for anything.
• The hotel was to far from downtown Columbia.

“I like that the hotel had a bar and restaurant down stairs. I don't have to leave the hotel for anything. I enjoy the friendly staff and they were very helpful with every problem I had. If, you in Columbia, SC the Radisson is the best place to stay but the hotel is to far from downtown Columbia. This is the only thing I don't like about the hotel. It is still a very nice hotel and I will stay there again.”

• The room was very comfortable and clean. The housecleaning staff was very polite.
• The room did not cool down to the temperature I wanted although I did not report it.

“This hotel was very convenient to the area we needed to be and to the interstate. Hotel staff was very courteous and friendly.”

• The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable.
• Air conditioning unit was so loud you couldn't sleep with it on. Room face interstate highway which was very noisy.

“Hotel atmosphere was very nice. Our room was very comfortable, especially the sleep number bed. However, our air conditioner was so loud you couldn't sleep with it on. Location is convenient from highway but also has negatives. Our room faced the highway so there was a lot of noise from passing traffic. Also, we were approached in the parking lot by an individual asking for money, but when told no, he drove away angry but wasn't seen again.”

• The hotel and grounds were exceptionally clean.
• The layout of the hotel is difficult to navigate. The numbers run in sequence in two different towers. You have to watch the elevator you get on.

• Proximity to waffle house.
• Everything.

“Where to begin. No drapes on the windows, the air conditioning in our room was broken, the maid knocked on our door no less than three times before 9 a.m., the walls are paper thin. You get the picture. Not a three star hotel by anybody's definition. I want my money back!”

“The desk person that checked us in was rude. The room was old, but the furniture was up to date. We enjoyed the pool. It wasn't close to good restaurants.”

• The hotel goes out of its way to make you comfortable.
• The alarm clock went off in the middle of the night due to a previous customer. Housekeeping should have cleared settings.

“Very nice, attractive, friendly hotel that seems to go the extra mile for your comfort. We will stay here again!”

• Clean, select comfort beds.
• Dated exterior.

• Great water pressure, great air bed, great internet.
• No continental breakfast, had security cameras but no live security patrol, no hot tub.

“Overall a decent hotel. Great bedding and shower. Hot tub has been removed. Good gym for a hotel. Only downfall was no free breakfast and the only security was cameras (no guards) in an area high in crime.”

“I was very impressed with the setting and the attentiveness from the whole staff. The hotel manager came over to me while I was in the lounge area. He introduced himself and asked how my stay was up to that point. I told him it was excellent and he handed me a card, said to call him or flag him down if there was anything he could do to make it a total satisfying experience. He was extremely professional and visible each night I was there.”

• Very nicely decorated, recently remodeled.
• The select comfort sleep number beds were highly uncomfortable.

“I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is conveniently located to I-20 and I-26. Its minutes from downtown and a short drive to Lexington. The restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. There was also a mini star bucks conveniently located in the lobby. There were some strange foreign travelers trying to enter my room in the middle of the night one night. I think they were confused but very persistent.”

• The room upon checking in at 2 am.

“After a long trip we arrived late, 2 am. When we entered the room we found bottle caps on the night stand, loose change on the desk, used newspapers on the bed, used soap in the shower soap dish and opened shampoo on the tub. I had no idea if the sheets were clean but all appearances would indicate no. I called the front desk to see if we had someone elses room and they assured me it was mine. They did nothing about what we found. Very disappointing.”
