• Cheap.
• No fitness center, under renovations, no paper, breakfast not so good.

“Overall, I would pick a different hotel. The common areas were under renovation, but seemed to be in a constant state of it (graffiti on the dry wall in the elevators). There was also no fitness center on site, but you have to drive 10-15 minutes to go to their off site facility, which was more of a boxing club/ weight lifting place in an old warehouse. There was no morning paper, and their 1 computer for travelers had keyboard issues.”

• The bed was wondrously comfortable and the breakfast was great! Very clean.

“This hotel was very easy to get to from the highway. The room was very clean; the linens were plush and comfy. The bathroom was immaculate and I felt very comfortable about sitting in the tub without worrying about something crawling on me. The breakfast was wonderful! When they say "continental breakfast", I usually think about pastries and fruit juice. This hotel actually provided warm eggs and sausage, along with biscuits, cereal, and other items. I had a wonderful time!”

• I liked that I finally got into a non smoking room at 3:00am. The girl told me when I checked in that it was not possible to change rooms.
• When I checked in I asked to be switched to a non smoking room and was told I could not.

“The lady that helped me get into the nonsmoking room when I got up at 3:00am was nice and did so. I was told earlier that because a change was not possible and that there were no non smoking rooms available. This was a lie because before I went up to the front desk at 3:00am, I called the front desk and checked to see if I could book a room for the next two nights and there was. My eyes were swollen from sleeping in that smoking room. I was ready to leave the hotel if I was not changed. But I should have been switched the moment I checked in instead of having to feel like I had to beg (and move). In the nonsmoking room the tiles in that room were loose which I expect better if staying in what is supposed to be a 2.5 star hotel. We did not get the USA Today paper. Breakfast was very good. I would not go back to the hotel based on this past visit.”

• The hotel was very clean. Fridge/microwave available upon request.
• Our room was not serviced one of the days of our stay.

• The hotel staff was very friendly. The hotel and our room were very clean.
• The housekeeping staff was up and working very early. Had the do not disturb sign up and she still busted through the door while we were still asleep.

“Our stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was beautiful. The hotel was centrally located to interstate 85, restaurants and shopping centers. It is close to the airport and beautiful downtown charlotte.”

• Quick friendly & easy check in and out.
• I think most nights were sold out during my stay and they had trouble keeping continental breakfast stocked & tables cleaned.

“The lobby and rooms were very clean neat and up to date. All hotel employees were friendly and helpful. One unusual thing: when they put coffee makers in rooms they need to make sure there is a place to plug in. The coffee maker was on the dresser but there wasn't any plug in. The bathroom was the only place that was accessible and had room to plug in.”

• Rooms were clean, breakfast selection was good.
• If you don't like smoke, ask for a room on the non smoking floor, as it's terrible smelling on the smoking floor.

“Rooms were clean. Nothing fancy, but they are fine. Bathroom is ok sized, clean. Lobby has a nice sitting area & the breakfast is good.”

• The smoking room could not get smell out they need to refresh the air.

“The lobby was clean. The breakfast was good. Do not stay on the smoking floor if not a smoker no fresh air. Stayed four days and could not get smell out. Need more non smoking rooms and better process to update rooms.”

• The front lobby staff was very friendly and welcoming.
• There is nothing I did not like.

“The hotel is close to a lot of shopping malls and centers (walking distance even) It's near good restaurants and is right off highway 85. It's right across from Bojangles who has really, really good chicken and biscuits. The hotel was very clean and the complimentary breakfast is good and hot.”

• The beds and bedding were great. Breakfast exceptional.
• Can't think of anything.

“Hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate. It is very clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and very beautifully decorated. The breakfast included meat as well as other sundry breakfast dainties. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to visiting this Hampton Inn in the future.”

• The hotel is near the interstate and traffic noise was very loud.

“I had requested a non-smoking room, none available when I arrived. Traffic noise is a big issue, worse than most interstate hotels.”
