“This hotel was clean and in a convenient location. The decor was quite outdated and nothing special. The free breakfast was good.”

• Friendly staff.
• The bathroom was not roomy and the counter space was less than desirable.

“You will be greeted with a smile. This hotel was a great bringing a hot buffet style breakfast in the morning and a relaxing setting in the afternoon. The hotel is attached to an updated bar/restaurant that will handle most to all of your needs. The room bathrooms are in need of expansion and more appropriate counter space design would be nice. I will plan on staying at this hotel again in my travels and enjoyed my visit.”

• Not clean, sort of run down.

“The best point about our stay was the free breakfast, although the quality was mediocre. The hotel is getting run down. The restaurant leaves much to be desired. We had dinner there and were the only one's in the restaurant. I can see why! I would not stay there again.”

• Was clean and the pool area was nice.
• The restaurant was slow so we went somewhere else.

“This hotel was fine except for some interesting events that took place. When sitting in the lobby at night there were rowdy people in the bar and they entered and exited through the lobby. Most were very drunk and a man carrying drunken women dropped her right outside the door. At breakfast the next day three cops came through the dining room and arrested the cook. This hotel would probably not be the place to take children.”

• It had a microwave and refrigerator as an added plus.
• Some difficulty with the key card for outside access.

“We were very pleased with our overall experience. It was clean and quiet, with many amenities.”

• The quality of the pillows was the only negative.

“This unit was clean and convenient to the inter-state. The staff was friendly and helpful. The full breakfast was a real treat. I would not hesitate to stay there again.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• No elevator difficult to get to room.

“This was an older hotel; however they have taken great efforts to make it a higher level hotel with bedding and furniture in the room. It is a perfect hotel for a short stay while driving thru the area. Free breakfast buffet was included in room price.”

• The attendant was awesome! He made every effort to accommodate all of our needs.
• It was older and not a great quality hotel.

“The service was great, but if you want a more updated hotel don't stay here! The rooms were clean but it isn't a hotel that I would recommend to anyone else. It basically served our purpose for a short weekend of skiing.”

• I did not like this hotel.
• There was no elevator to the second floor. The bathtub was cracked was and the room was small.

“I do not recommend this hotel for anyone who has any disabilities. It has no elevator. Unless you can get double beds I would not go with kids. The hotel is also in need of updating.”

• The first room we had smelled so bad (smoking) but they quickly changed it!

“I really think this is a great hotel when staying in the Winter place area! The price, cleanliness and free breakfast were excellent! I would stay here again.”

• Front desk clerk was extremely friendly & helpful.
• Last guest's soap was left in the bathtub.

“Our room had been refurbished and was quite attractive. It was one long walk to the front desk and I had to make that walk 3 times due to non-working electronic keys. The desk clerk was very helpful, but even she was puzzled by the lock problem. Access to restaurants and other amenities was great. Their included full breakfast was excellent.”

“The hotel is old and the bathroom fixtures reflect this. The room heater/ac unit is ready for an overhaul also. The desk clerk was not the least bit friendly on check in. I likely won't stay at this facility in the future.”
