• Gas stations.
• Bugs were crawling as we slept and management wasn't helpful.

“As we entered in the room, a mild order lingered in the air, then we saw a bug crawling on the wall, killed it thought it was the only one. When we went to sleep, bugs crawled on us and I tried to tell management but he brushed me off and told me to go away. So we slept in the car. I went to front desk and he wouldn't let me in told me to go away he was closed. When I checked out, I told management that I was totally unhappy with our stay we slept in our car because bugs were crawling on us. He told me he would have changed rooms so I asked him why didn't he let me in, he told me he thought I was asking him for a cigarette. I told him you didn't even let me in to see why I was ringing the door bell. It was awful.”

“It was dirty, bug infested. The mattresses were dirty, torn and very old. No way would we have slept on them. This place will give you a bad name.”

• Price, location, pool.
• Front desk male clerk. The female was nice.

“We only stayed in the room long enough to sleep because we went to the beach every day. The continental breakfast was just fine and was always fresh daily. The overall maintenance is a little shabby, but who cares, I'm not living there. The only two draw backs were the construction workers that were staying there were drunks. The female was quite pleasant.”

• The adjoining lounge was comfortable and affordable.
• The beds and linens could stand to be replaced.

“As an economy hotel close to Savannah, it's a good value. It's nice to find an affordable room that comes with amenities like a mini-fridge, coffee maker and swimming pool. There is a restaurant and lounge, fast food and convenience store in the same parking lot, so it makes staying there easy on leisure travelers.”

• The price and location.
• Worn, scratchy blankets and nasty pool.

“For the price this hotel served it's purpose. A bed to sleep in. I wish we had looked at the pool before getting a pool view room because this motel's pool was disgusting. Your supposed to be able to somewhat see through the water right? Well, not here. The air conditioner worked but drained into the carpet in the room, so don't get out of the bed on the left side! Really, for a budget motel it was fine. No bugs, the sheets and towels were clean.”

• Location was ideal, right off Interstate.
• I had to go buy room freshener and sandals due to stink & dirty carpet.

“I would never go back there. It wasnt enjoyable for my wife & myself.”

• Nothing was positive about this horrible place!
• The shower and toilet were not clean. The room smelled like smoke and it was supposed to be a non- smoking.

“Do not stay here. It was not clean. The doors were busted in and did not lock properly. The room smelt like cigarette smoke and was supposed to be a non smoking room. There was an ash tray on the table and that was a non-smoking room. The front desk was non responsive to our requests. The continental breakfast was probably for the first 10 people because they were empty long before the time that the breakfast was supposed to last. I would not recommend any one staying at this facility.”

• Good Location.
• Room was falling apart.

“Toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, shower curtain was very moldy. The breakfast was mini muffins and coffee.”

• Excellent location.
• Loud noises outside room being on the 1st floor Downtown.

“Lovely hotel, recommend it for any type of travel. very close to River St.”

• They are updating it.
• Buggy, dirty, and run down/rusty tub, mismatched paint.

“We were not happy with this hotel. They are under new ownership and are remodeling, but the hotel was buggy, had mismatched patched wall paint, burn holes in the sheets, the carpets were torn and the tub was rusty. We did have new curtains and comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly. Overall we would not stay here again.”

• They helped me with everything I needed and my wedding planner as well.
• The bar was really nasty.

“I stayed at 2 hotels the first one was awful that was at Rodeway Inn but the seconded on was so outstanding, they helped me with anything I needed and they also helped my family out as well.”

• Quiet and calm.
• A couple of things were broken that's really important that makes the hotel.

“This hotel was somewhat satisfying. I love the king size bed and the peace and quiet but some things like the broken shelf and the broke knob to the hot water in the shower could of been fixed or had better care. Room Service was excellent and on time. Customer service wasn't all that bad except for when I checked in it took 10 mins for someone to come out but explained that he was making reservations himself but anyhow all in all it was ok but could of been better.”

• Air conditioning worked well.
• "Continental Breakfast" = same muffins as yesterday still sitting on counter, 1 pot of coffee made/day, juice dispenser broken.

“Acceptable space, beds OK. Room a bit smelly as pets is allowed. Air conditioning works well. Walls and doors smeared and dirty, bath fairly clean, some mildew. "Continental Breakfast"= day old muffins and coffee. Noise is average. Staff is not to be found except when daily cleaning. I can't rate the outdoor pool, we didn't use it. I would not stay there again.”

• Extremely friendly management. Well kept grounds.
• About 15 minutes from Savannah.

“For a lower priced hotel this was an excellent value. The pool and grounds were very well kept. The management was helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. There was excellent coffee and rolls in the morning.”

• Poor quality, rooms in poor condition.

“This hotel, Rode way Inn, looked like it was undergoing some remodeling efforts however I am not certain it is worth the effort. The condition of the hotel looked like it would be best to tear it down and start over. People were friendly enough.”

• It was close to the places we wanted to go.
• We did not get the room we wanted and service was not good.

“We were on anniversary trip to Savannah. We got a room with two double beds and a coffee maker refrigerator. We were only staying the night so we did not complain. ”
