• The rooms were clean.
• It looked shady outside.

“The hotel looked like a dump from the outside and we were a little scared. The rooms were clean and smelled very nice.”

• There wasn't much to like; just a place to rest my head at night.
• The chairs on the front porch were broken. The continental breakfast consisted of Sam's breakfast bars and packages with two small muffins. No juice.

“This hotel is good if you just want to rest your head at night. The staff was nice, but that is the best I can say about it. The free continental breakfast consisted of Sam's Choice breakfast bars and mini packages of mini muffins. There was no juice or decaf coffee provided. The room itself was very outdated and the bed was a bit uncomfortable including the pillows. The chairs outside of the room were falling apart and not easily sat in.”

• Gave an upgrade in order to accommodate another's needs. Good to know they work with their customers!
• Hot water was extremely slow to heat, no decaf coffee available, no nearby grocery stores.

“While outside of the actual tourist area, it's a straight shot to Old St. Augustine. It is walking distance to one of the better tour trains. The staff was eager to be helpful. At first glance it seemed to be a "dicey" area, but once we were in place, we felt quite comfortable and safe. I'd happily stay there again.”

• Room was infested with cock roaches.

“After checking in went to room for a shower. No soap. When the lights went out the roaches came out, it was infested with them. Was told we would not be charged for the room but that was a lie, we were. ”
