“Eo Inn is a quaint hotel on Orlando's flagship Lake Eola Park. Everything about the Eo Inn is small- the lobby, the rooms, even the elevator. It is also very hip, right in the middle of Orlando's new upscale night life scene in Thornton park. The rooms and common areas are kept impeccably clean. There is a Panera bread restaurant on the first floor, so you wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread and toasting bagels. Our room faced the road so it was noisy from traffic. Overall a great place to stay.”

“If I were traveling with a large group for work, etc, this would be a slightly expensive, but nice option. But if you are in town for one night, you may want to go with a cheaper option. The room was very small, but the shower was nice and big. The balcony was divided by linen sheets, that will blow wide open with any wind (no real privacy). Our room balcony was overlooking an empty lot. No view of the lake or even the downtown area, just a lot and a couple of trees. The bed was comfortable, the common area on each floor was a nice touch, the shower was nice, the soaps were nice. The AC was so loud that it woke me up almost every time it turned on. They had a sign in the bathroom suggesting that you hang up and dry your towel in the interest of going green, which is great, but in the lobby, they had apples wrapped in plastic, which seems a bit counter intuitive if you're effort is to be more green. The apple was delicious. My biggest complaint was checking in; we arrived around 10. The lobby was locked, the phone in the call box was broken and no one answered at the phone number on the sign. Not knowing what to do, I just happened to try and open a lock box (which had a keypad, but was not locked) which had an envelope with my name on it. Inside was my key and room info. At the end of the day I got my key and got into my room, but aside from sheer curiosity, I have no idea how I was supposed to know my key was in the box.”

“The hotel is not as "cool" as it thinks it is, but it is well-located and pleasant. We were in the standard queen room, which was snug for 2 people and luggage. The bed was OK, the bedding was very nice. There was supposed to be coffee (nothing else) in the lobby, but not until 8AM on Sunday. Then they said they could not make it, so there was none. Fortunately, it shares the building with Panera. I think next time I will spring for the room with the balcony just to feel a little more spacious. Overall a pleasant hotel. Not luxury, but nice, and I would stay there again.”
