“The hotel met are needs. There was nothing bad about it and was not there anything really great about it. We had a good stay and it met are needs just fine. The staff was friendly and helpful and looked like they at least liked their job.”

“The hotel was nasty, smelly, and had unsavory looking people walking by and standing in the hotel's parking lot where I feared for my safety and also feared that my car might get broken into. I purposely left the hotel and stayed out until 10pm so that I'd only have to sleep there. It was so nasty; I didn't even want to shower. The dirt and funk on my body would've been better than staying at that hotel. As a matter of fact, I seriously contemplated sleeping in my car. I've lived overseas before and this is the type of motel that I would expect to find there. I've stayed at a Super 8 that was better than this LaQuinta. The only nice thing that I can say about this hotel is that the front desk clerks were ok & it was right off the highway. Dirty, smelly.”

“This was not the La Quinta experience that I am used to. The hotel's area seemed grungy. The exercise facility, pool and hallways were dark and in need of repair. Our entry light did not work. Carpet and chairs were stained. Bathroom drain was clogged. It was NOT a place to which I would return. Very overpriced!”

“The location and exterior were fine. We thought we made a great choice. However, we shouldn't judge a book by its cover - right! This building has been here for a while and I don't believe it has been remodeled since the 70's or later. The hallway told part of the story. If I owned this place I would knock it down and start over. The location is too good to have this crap. Follow the money trail - I am sure Health inspectors were paid off or they were shown just a few of the hotels best rooms. We sure weren't! I'd like a refund really!”

“The hotel room was clean and adequate. Unfortunately, the location made me feel unsafe as did the amount of people loitering around the hotel entrance. Looked on all floors for a vending machine that would work with no luck.”

“Not bad if you have animals no real channel selection, and the internet did not work all the time kept getting bumped off. Other than that fairly clean shower stunk.”

“Before arriving, I called to make sure we were in a non-smoking room as my fiancé has an allergy to smoke. When we arrived, we were given a smoking room which flared up her allergies to the point where she couldn't breathe very well. We alerted the staff and they moved us to a king size handicapped room with a king size bed. We are not married and had an issue with sleeping in the same bed together. We asked for a cot and were told no problem. Upon entering the room, the closet door was open and every telecommunications switch was open and waiting for something to happen. Luckily, we are decent people and would never touch anything like that, but what if you had a group of teenagers- you're whole hotel would be without cable and phone services. Talk about a breakdown! After getting ready for a conference we were in town for, my fiancé noticed on the bed there was an eye contact stuck to the welcome note. She went to the front desk and the manager on duty said "oh one of our housekeepers has been looking for that" how disgusting! She asked for our room to be cleaned with new linens and we were told "you can do it yourself, but we have no one on staff until tomorrow" this was absolutely unacceptable! We went out for the evening and came back and the cot was still not brought to our room. Finally, a gentleman brought it to us. The front desk proceeded to call and say that there was a mistake and we had to "pay for the extra cot" I¿m sorry, this was the hotel's mistake, why should we have to pay? ”

“This is an old hotel that was converted to a la Quinta, so it is not the standard style of la Quinta. The rooms very adequate, but somewhat dirty. The continental breakfast wasn't very good at all, the bakery items didn't seem fresh and wasn't the usual la Quinta fare.”

“Overall, it may not be altogether fair to review this La Quinta inn the weekend we visited; it was in the middle of a major renovation, and when we arrived, workers were laying tile in the main lobby, which was partially blocked off. But all things considered, it was a pleasant enough motel. We did find the exercise room a little lacking in that it only had a few pieces of cardio equipment, and no weight-training gear of any kind, like a universal machine or free weights. The small outdoor pool seemed nice, though it was pretty cool and I didn't use it. And the La Quinta did a good job of apparently relocating the continental breakfast from the lobby to the restaurant, and the offerings were also fairly good, though I would suggest a wider variety of fruits (they had inlay oranges).”

“I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Florida theme parks, unless it would be a last available resource. I think they have to significantly improve the overall cleanliness of their rooms, specially the bathrooms. Also all the plumbing needs to be thoroughly checked & deficient units have to be replaced with new ones. Lastly, I think that they need to build a broader hallway to their elevators. On a positive note, I¿d say that the perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the large size of their rooms.”

“When asked for another towel they said to come down to the front desk and get it yourself. Upon arrival, they said they had a secure lot, the wires on the controls were cut and the manager said it would be open all night because of a full house. That's not a comforting thought to someone relocating w/ a trailer. The internet didn't work so, once again had to talk with the manager, "just keep trying it and aim it towards the elevators". The room kind of had that stale smell to it like there might've been a leak somewhere or something?”

“I received a smoking room and have breathing problems. They could not change the room. Inside the floor in the bathroom was wet and slippery. The coffee pot was dirty and had old coffee in it. The view from the window overlooked the roof, which had buckets and rags on it. The beds were not very clean either.”
